Hi there!
Your poem is really interesting, it's a different take on christmas and it works really well. The only thing is the balance of vocabulary isn't quite right. It's just that in the first verse you use alot of vocabulary that somebody my age (13) hasn't got a clue what it means, but then I can understand the rest of the poem. I think you just need to balance the first verse out, because it's not just my range of vocabulary, it doesn't seem to flow well enough. Everything else (apart from a few measley grammar errors) is perfect! Just edit that first verse, well that's what I would do, it's up to you.
Well done, it's a great piece of work and Merry Christmas!

Hello there :)
I generally loved the power this poem possessed. I liked how you kept a consistent rhythm. My one and only problem was the overuse or too many big words. Though I commend you for using them, big words tend to take the attention away from the poem and over complicate things. See it as this way; you take a big hit from a big word and then before you can recover, here comes another one! Also, they make your work seem overly exaggerated. It's not a crime though, so just keep that mind.
I feel you have great skills and you should keep up the good work.
Keep writing and good luck.
The best is what you make it!
