Random Drawings

Hey everyone. I haven’t posted anything here for a while with exams and all, so I have drawn a couple of pics and wanted to post them. I HOPE YOU LIKE THEM.
sorry some of them are small.

Hey there Captain Random!

So, I’ll just go through these, one at a time. Because that’s easiest.

So, the first one makes me, actually a little uncomfortable because of the look in her eyes because of the way her hair is laying across them. It seems a bit odd. Not only that, but I’m kind of wondering where the name comes from, though I do love the way it’s written over there. And that shade of pink is just too cute.

The dragon definitely looks cool, but it would have been nice to see a funky background. The only thing I really dislike at all in any way shape or form is the flame streak coming out of Ruby’s mouth. It seems very…blah.

Inside Joke must really be an inside joke…because I don’t get it. It’s a nice picture and all…but…I don’t get it….at all. I do however love how the eyes look a bit like some sort of pill.

This is my favorite right here because it looks like a solid, cartoony mermaid. Very cool, clean and crisp. And the color choice is lovely.

Gaaah! Gaga! Okay, I love photo manipulations. That’s all I’m going to say.

But I think you could have done more with this drawing of her. Gaga is Gaga because of how crazy and outlandish she always looks. Try to embrace that. It’s Gaga-rific.

I love this last one too. The colors are very eye catching and the detail that went into the outfit is amazing. The only thing that kind of made me look at it with squinted eyes is that her chin seems a smidge long.

But I do love the cartoony feel to all of these. I kind of wish I could draw people like this!

honestly the pictures made me smile, the were honestly adorable though... the lady gaga freaked me out :S

Hey hun! First lemme say nice start on drawing. A lot of people either start and then give up or just don't start at all.

Have you ever tried using an under structure? These are great to use when drawing animals and people! I use them all the time and it helps me A LOT!

Your drawing of Gaga is cute but the leg is horribly broken. Our knees can't bend that way D: ouch. The torsos are too long in the first and third drawing. This will make your arms and legs too long. Our arms are so awesome in a way that our elbows start at the end of our rib cage and our wrists match up with our pelvic area. And for the legs, if you put your index finger on top of your drawing's head and then your thumb on the pelvic area and move them down, your thumb should be where your ankles are. So if the torso is too long, it makes arms and legs too long.

Under structures help with this. I suggest using one and then drawing a nude body over top of it and then add the clothing. I also suggest to reference the heck out of things!

Your Dark Magician Girl is nice! Her shoulders are too broad for a girl and her arms are waaayyy too skinny, though. So skinny it looks as though she's anorexic D: under structures help this too! (so does reference <3 )

http://bakaneko.com/ is a great site with great under structure tutorials even if you're not wanting to draw anime or manga. If you do however want to draw anime and manga, it's a great site for that too.

Other than that, keep practicing!

Your really good at drawing! I find most artwork really good and I think thats because I stink at drawing! anyway these are amazing!
