YWS Secret Santa!

Hello, everyone! It's getting to be that time of year again and I thought it would be great to continue what we started last year with the Secret Santa. It went really great last year, so I'm sure it'll be twice as awesome this time. ;) To sign up just reply to this post with a few things about yourself: favorite animal, favorite color, the music you listen to, etc. We'll stop accepting participants on December 6th, so everyone can have enough time to work on their gifts. I'll try to get the names back to you for your specific Secret Santa by either the 7th or 8th in a PM. But what are the gifts, you ask? Well, each person participating will create a gift for their chosen member - be it a poem, a short story, a beautiful picture, or anything else that fits your fancy. The original posts that each person makes to sign with the quick summary of things they like should help you out on figuring out the main theme of your piece. :) The Secret Santa exchange will take place on the 25th of December on Christmas Day, but if you are unable to make it that day, feel free to send it a little early with a tag of ' Don't open until Christmas '. Am I too late? Otherwise:

Colour: Blue. Or anything else bright and cheerful.

Hobbies: Underwater hockey, reading, other general nerdy things.

Genre: All, I guess. But especially fantasy and sci-fi and humour.

Books: His Dark Materials, Harry Potter, One Thousand Splendid Suns.

TV/movies: Scrubs, Doctor Who, Merlin, Sherlock (BBC), Glee, Inception, sappy rom-coms like Love Actually.

Music: Lots of things!

Lucksmiths, Vienna Teng, Beatles, Rhett Miller, Imogen Heap, REM, KT Tunstall, Noisettes, Coldplay, Taylor Swift... pretty much anything other than metal, grunge, emo or rap type music. I'm a sucker for the type with acoustic guitar and pretty lyrics.

Other: I like sunshine, and ignoring logic, and fanfiction (especially the ridiculous type with plots like 'DINOSAUR LOVE STORY' and 'MAGIC SPACE PIRATES'), and fluffy animals, and unhealthy food, and being a fangirl, and badass characters, and snuggling in any way shape or form. And surpises!
