Hey guys. This is my first shot at writing poetry. Sleep isn't an easy thing to come by for me so I decided to write about it. Some parts don't seem to flow even to me so I could really use some advise there. Thanks in advance. FROMNZ
Insomniacs reality
Night upon night,
I lay all alone,
Possessed by my thoughts,
Unable to let go,
I’m haunted from a distance,
By what I desire most,
Held in discussion with an unseen ghost.
The sounds of the night,
Penetrate my room,
Teasing me of which others,
Can achieve so soon,
Dear master of the moon,
Don’t you see?
I am being driven mad,
By these thoughts inside me,
This is my life,
An insomniac's reality.

Dear master of the moon,
I have a problem
Dont you see? -- you see
Your antics are driving me mad
I am being driven mad,
Night after night,
I lay alone,
Trapped with my thoughts,
contemplating the unknown
This is my life,
An insomniacs reality.
Dear master of the moon,
Dream weaver indeed,
I am being driven mad,
By these thoughts inside of me,
So I beg [of] you please (I beg your pardon)
Embrace me in your arms,
Free from this world,
[riddled with]Of hate and Greed,
If only for one night,
Save this insomniac from their (nightly?) reality.
Dear master of the moon
You see?
I'm being driven mad,
By these thoughts inside of me,
This is my life
An insomniac's reality
My rambling above are a bit hard to understand. I just wanted to put out what I was thinking.
