This is good. I like it a lot. I have been studying portraiture at an art museum and believe that you have achieved a realistic effect, with the facial proportions correct and careful shading, but you have also done the most important thing: you have captured a personality. Art is different to every person who sees it, but, to me, this looks like a slightly mischievous girl, probably one that is a bit different from her clothes. SHe might listen to alternative music. The way she has her hand in her pocket makes her seem nonchalant.
Now, for the bad part. There isn't necessarily anything BAD with this work at all. Just some things to improve upon in the future:
>The eyes are rather wide-set and squinty. You might try making them less narrow, more round.
>the face is the right size, but the hair and head is a bit out of proportion.
>the knees angle in and it makes me cringe. Would a real person stand like that? ouch.

I should not assume that you are going for a realistic picture here, but, if you are, i should have given you some pointers.
Good job!

Really nice picture.
>Have you tried to separate your picture into shapes before actually drawing it? It really helps proportion wise.
> Also, when doing this, start everything out as ball-socket joints, if you get my point.(almost every picture starts out as a circle of some sort)
>like already stated, the eyes are a little narrow, but not too bad. I mean, she IS Asian, right?
> Her posture looks a little painful, her head is a little too cocked.
> And last, the shadows are wonderful, but are a little too strong in some areas. You could maybe try using not-so-strong shading/outline pens in certain areas.
OVERALL, nice drawing!
great!

I love this design :) A very original character, good job!
A few things I noticed:
-the eyes are a bit too long
-the hair on the top part of the headband is too large/bushy
-the shading on her skin is a bit too drastic, try making it a bit more subtle
-the legs need some work, too sharp of an angle at the knees and the shape of the legs could look smoother

But honestly I loved this drawing. You did an incredible job on the clothes and the detail you put in is admirable :)
keep drawing!!

Hey there!

This is a very nice picture. The detail is nice, sloppy, but nice. I think her eyes are gorgeous, so big and sparkly looking. Yup, I'm a weirdo. You named this Ninja Chick but I don't really see any 'ninja' on her. :/ Maybe I'm missing something. Anyway, there are a few things that I noticed and that would mostly be the body. It seems like she's leaning one way and her legs are oddly proportioned. Now, I'm a drawer too so I know how difficult it can be to draw bodies. I'm still perfecting my own drawing skills...Let's keep working! You're quite talented and I'd love to see more of your work soon.

I really really like this. She has a great personality, and she reminds me of the 70s or 80s or things around then (I'm obsessed with the 70s and 80s.)

This girl is absolutely beautiful. Love her. I love the interesting pose she's in and the look on her face. I love the volume and life she has in her hair too.

Hey there, this is Dragonet, and I'll try to be your reviewer.
You have a pretty unique sketch here, (and if there's one thing you need to know about me it's that I love unique-ness) it's very cool. Although she seems kinda offbalance, crooked. and her knees look like they're knocking together. But you have great talent, keep up the good work! :)

Hey hun <3 nice start on drawing.

Have you tried doing the under structure first? This will help A LOT with your anatomy issues. The torso is way too long, making your arms too long. Your elbows are at the end of your rib cage and your wrists are where your pelvic area is. For the length of her legs, you can put a finger on top of her head and then one at the pelvic area and that will be the length of the legs. And yes, the knees make me cringe as well D: I would also suggest reference! Reference the heck outta things!

I also think the face is too small for the rest of her body. The eyes? I think are fine, make it part of your style if anything. I like big eyes, it's expressive. But I'd still work on them a bit.

http://bakaneko.com/ this is a great drawing tutorial place, even if you don't want to draw anime or manga. It'll give you a run through on how to do the under structure. :D I also suggest drawing the nude body on top of the under structure before you go with the clothing.

I...don't get a Ninja vibe from her either. I get a huge Hippie vibe. Might wanna work on the Ninja-ness too. Other than that I think you'll be good. I bid you good luck and dont forget to practice practice practice! :D Take care and stay safe! Hope I helped!

I really like this, Its different.
The body work is really good and the detailing is perfectly used, you also managed to really use shading to your advantage and make her seem darker yet with a playful expression.
Overall a really good piece and I did enjoy it!
Well done!

I liked this. it reminded me of fashion sketches. I do have some knitpicks.

One being the placement of the model. Her legs are unnatural in that position. I would try something a little more straight ande relaxed. It's kind of a sailor moon pose (you know when that big tear drop comes up on her forehead and she starts balling. ugh)

Maybe try drawing the body first then the accessories and clothing after. It keeps proportions right and, for me, it is easier with shadowing cause i know where everyhting is going.
