Black and white paintings

Hello everyone! This is some of my newest work. Hope you all enjoy it, and don't hesitate to tear it apart. Thank you in advance.


This is a painting I did for a friend.


This is a school project, we had to change a painting to make it our own. This is final product.

1 ~ Very realistic eyes and hair. The lines around his mouth make him look a little weird. His nose is a little off too. I like the rose though; it adds a nice detail.

2 ~ My favorite one! I actually thought it was a photograph when I first saw it. It's amazing.

3 ~ This is really pretty. It doesn't look particularly realistic; I don't know if you wanted it to or not? I like that it doesn't. It looks like an old impressionist painting. I would like to see some more movement in the water though.

You're very talented. I wish I could paint like that. =D

I love the way you did Alex eyes, really gorgoues. And I agree with explosive the lines of his mouth are a bit weird, and the rose is awesome.
Your friend is very lucky, the converse look really good and the pants look realistic.
The third is my favorite, though the second one isnt far off, it looks fantastic to me.

1 - You got his hair dead on haha. Nicely done. I also like his eyebrows, his eyes, and the rose! As others have mentioned, I don't really like the lines around his mouth. It makes him look weird, and a bit old.

2 - THIS IS WONDERFUL! I really really like it, as you can see. I would buy that. There is so much detail in the piece, it's really very great.

3 - This one is alright. It's pretty, but it has the potential to be much better. I like the little bit of color that the flower thing on the cliff gives. I think the waterfall needs to be wilder. It would be a nice dynamic. Peaeful scenery with wild water.

Im not reviewing, I'd just like to say that the converse on is... beyond words.

I actually thought it was a photograph, for like 5 minutes!!

I know its copied, but its still AMAZING :O

I love it and I thought it was a photo too so great job.

I couldn't see the first one because photobucket has removed it apparently but if the other two are anything to go on it will be brilliant.

As for the last one I also really liked it, you are a very talented artist!

First of all, the first picture has been deleted, just to let you know.

The other two pictures, however, look very nice.
The first one is so well done that I honestly thought it was a picture. If it is a painting, because I'm still not sure, wonderful job. The second painting looks more like a painting, but that doesn't detract from its beauty at all. The waterfall is very nice, and I like the pop of color that the flowers add.

Overall, these paintings look very nice, and I'm curious what the other one looks like.

1 snapshot - Are the converse R E A L that is very hard to believe as they are so realistic Congratulations you are an incredible artist! Wow still blown away fantastic!

2 snapshot - Lovely stuff still very realistic like it's been uploaded onto a computer and had the media changed very talented I think it's truly incredible!

3 snapshot - Very Good searched up Alex Evans on google images and was astonished at how well you have drawn him you got the hair spot on and the eyes are also very similar well done!

I really like your first painting with the feet >3< I think it's rather cute. Great job! Keep on painting

Okay so for the first one: Really love this one. I think the way you overlapped the shoes is really great, and in a way it's really symbolic which i love in paintings. The shadow in the background is a really great touch.

Second: This one i like the most out of the three. Love how you made it look open, but secretive at the same time. Also love the plant.

And the last one: There is a good likeness, and i like the way you sketched the rose.

Overall i like the work, and i really hope that you do some more.

Oh my goodness, that first picture is quite amazing! I can't stop looking at it!
The shoes are close to perfect as well as the hem of the jeans on the right. I know it's been said before but it looks like a photogragh.
The second one...I don't know what it is, it's pretty but it looks a little smeared or something to me. I do like the little flash of color from the flowers though, nice touch!
The third one is my least favorite, mostly because of his mouth. He looks angry or like he's pouting. Is he supposed to be kissing the flower? Otherwise, his eyes are nicely done as well as his hair.

Overall nice work!
