The records office was circular and tall. Ornate staircases wound their way upwards, towards the collective's main records. Every single planet's records were stored here; the inside being larger than the outside. There was a theory that the office itself is partly in a different dimensionI cannot visualize this at all, so I'm having trouble describing it.
The coffee shop walls were beige colored and the floor was chocolate brown. The ceiling was covered with pipes and had red, cone shaped lamps hanging from the beams. The walls were covered with abstract paintings and there was a window on the left wall. The floor had a pumpkin-colored rug in the center which was surrounded by a circle of green armchairs. The shop smelled of coffee with a little grass mixed in. The hum of the coffee machines and the clatter of cutlery blended in with the murmur of voices. The tables were steel and flanked by wooden chairs. The counter was a sickle, steel curve at the back that separated the coffee machines and the storeroom from the rest of the shop. It also had a small sink in which to wash the dirty dishes. The storeroom was a small room cut at the back next to the coffee machines. The store menu hung above the coffee machines and was black with white lettering on it. It was framed in a standard black frame that stood out against the walls. In all the shop had a quiet, calming air surrounding it.
