The clock strikes twelve
And I run for fear of exposure
My heart is broken
But I try to keep my composure
I’m a nobody and I’m treated like dirt
I cry at night and think of how much it hurts
But it’s alright

This is the part where the prince walks in
This is the part where he sweeps me off my feet
This is the part where we run away and have a happy ending
You’d think that everything was going down the drain
But my life’s a fairytale, so it’s okay

I feel lonely now
And I’m locked up in this tower
One window, no doors
Ten years, nine days and four hours
I’m going crazy so I scream and I shout
Lost count of the times I’ve tried to get out
But it’s alright

This is the part where the prince walks in
This is the part where he sweeps me off my feet
This is the part where we run away and have a happy ending
You’d think that everything was going down the drain
But my life’s a fairytale, so it’s okay

It’s getting dark now, he’s still not here
Something inside me gives in to fear
Long ago I gave up the fight
But my life’s a fairytale, so he must be coming
Right? Right?

This is the part where the prince walks in
This is the part where he sweeps me off my feet
This is the part where we run away and have a happy ending
You’d think that everything was going down the drain
But my life’s a fairytale, so it’s okay
If I die young
bury me in satin
lay me down on a bed of roses
sink me in the river, at dawn
send me away with the words of a love song

First review! Right lets get down to the business. Beautiful and deep, it has this charm and hope but at the same time reflects distress and desperation. For grammer? I can't honestly find any issues as I'm reading(or singing) through this piece and I sure won't knick pick at every little problem that is only noticeable if someone was looking for a problem. I like to say I enjoyed this piece and the only thing I can possibly criticise is the flow of the song, but I don't know how it is sung so maybe leave that part out aye?

Keep on writing :D

Hello! This was wonderful. It is so charming and cute! I love the storybook feel to it. The lyrics are so meaningful and deep. As far as grammar goes, there is nothing really to fix. Nicely done.
