I don't know if YWS has one, probably does, but so over the moon so I'm making a new one. This is the read for those who have done the intense labour and finished a novel and how you know feel like a God or Goddess. it's such an amazing feeling it should be shared.

The story I've finally finished writing is called The Perfect Devil

But no doubt I'm not the only one so share.

And be high with all of us on the endorphins of accomplishment!
You poor take courage
You rich take care
This earth was made a common treasury
For everyone to share
All things in common
All people one
We come in peace
The orders came to cut them down

Well done Vernon! How long did it take, and how long is it?

I've finished the second draft of my novel now; it's about 58,000 words and it's taken me around sixteen months. I think it just needs very minor tweaks now like taking away commas here and there, but the bulk of it is done, and I've given it to my mum to read and she hasn't said anything bad about it, so yay! :D

Round about two months, maybe more but overall not much more, it's only first draft, but right now getting an army of proof readers to help me, fix the minor things, it's 25 chapters and pages over 100 at least, need to work on that though, but overall I'm so so happy!

I've finished my book too, it's a fantasy that's 127,000 words long. Took me two years (a year for idea conception, a year for writing). Congrats to the both of you! :)

I finished one ages ago, but I'm currently in the editting area. And that is taking even longer the the writing and it's really getting to me. *Apple screams!* But anyway, it has 76,175 words and 207 pages. :D
I spy!

I just got through my third-ish draft (I have a very loose editing style), having finished the rough one at the end of the summer. It's called Perennials, a genre-bending "existential-crime-noir-horror" with an ever so slight sci-fi/supernatural twist (depending on your perspective). A mouthful, I know! I actually have it posted in the advanced critique section, and recently added the newest version, so everyone PLEASE feel free to check it out (53,000 words last I looked). just keep in mind, it is a bit on the violenet/edgy side (if you like Quentin Tarantino movies, you should definitely likes this) Definitely feels good to actually have something tangible; now I don't feel QUITE as weird telling people I'm a "writer" (it still feels weird though). Congrats to everyone else, you should all truly be proud. It takes a lot to really finish something, and very few people in the world can actually say they really wrote an entire book!

I just finished my novel for NaNoWriMo and it's the best feeling in the world!

I finished a NaNoWriMo novel, and a month later my head is still messed up. Now I will descend into the void of writing a novel with an actual plot.
What a shame,

I finished my novel about a week ago. It took me three years to finish, so I'm extremely happy about it. But I'm also...sad in a way. I mean, for three and a half years that novel was my baby! And now it's gone. I think I know now how parents feel when their children leave the home!
On another note, it DOES feel pretty amazing to finally say, "I'm done!"

Finished last week! It took me a very long time, but is very worth. The last full stop was like a weight being lifted from my shoulders. One more off the bucket list! XD
