He slammed his fist into the wall
He pulled his hair, he felt so small
He felt the tears rise in his eyes
But he was not weak, he would not cry
He threw his hands up in the air
He'd given up and didn't care
He kicked his bed and collapsed on the floor
He wanted to scream, he could take no more
His thoughts filled with the bad things people said
The threats and names and where they'd led
What he'd retorted as they laughed at their jokes
They kicked him down and gave him a poke
They laughed at him and walked away
And left him on the concrete where he lay
Just memories that were full of regret
That was something he would never forget
