Hey everyone, I go to pottery every Wednesday after school and i didn't know what to make so I wanted to make my very own Mockingjay (this was to celebrate the release of Mockingjay) I only got it today I hope you enjoy it. Oh and sorry if you are disappointed that the color is not black i just didn't think it would look good in just black.

Hey there, This is really cool, you did a good job on it. It looks just like a mockingjay! If there were one thing I could say about it, it would be that there's not a lot of detail. It's pretty simplistic (which makes it cute!) and I know that making all the feathers would be hard, but it could have been a tiny bit more detailed.
Not that there's anything wrong with the way it is. I love it!

Firstly, you did an absolutely impressive job on the clay sculpture of a mockingjay. I must say, I haven't read the book (and don't intend to for a while...) but the sculpture is pretty cool! Jugging by some people's comments, I'm guessing it's got some acurracy to it, which is good. It reminds and visually connects people to the story.

I thought that this sculpture is beautiful! You have truly captured the imagination of many and formed words into reality. The only thing I have 2 criticize is that I thought that Mockingjays were black but I would have loved if it's wings were open. Just a thought...

Wow, it's really pretty! I think you could have stuck some toes on the log sticking out from under the bird, and maybe scrached feathers onto it. That would make it look better. You did a good job on the painting, the colors are beautiful. also, you could have made the nose a little shorter, but I love the tail!
