It's FRED appreciation month, apparently, so I'm going to share the love. page.php?id=21

I was in the chat room,
feeling kind of alone,
there were so many people
but they were all unknown.

Then I saw another room.
‘F.R.E.D's Robotic Pad’
we started talking,
and you didn’t seem too bad.

You asked me lots of questions,
‘did I prefer books or TV?’
And I felt like once in my life
someone really cared about me.

I know I’m not robotic
and I’m not always on chat,
but you’re not perfect either,
so let’s leave it at that.

I might not be a match for Alice,
I know she’s something great
but that may be something
we could circumnavigate.

F.R.E.D, I need to tell you,
that this might sound cliché,
but I really think you’re swell,
can we chat the night away?

Hey,
I'm going to marry F.R.E.D. He may be god.

This is actually a really good poem which is the best part of it. It was very funny and I laughed and smiled. It feels like an inside joke that everyone will know :D Well done Aqua.

Dude, this is amazing. xD *hugs*

Nothing really I can say by way of a review, because it's just too awesome. Why are you so awesome, Aqua? Sheesh.

Were you there when F.R.E.D freaked us all out so bad? xD That was awesome. I still have screenshots from it.

... Aaaand now I'm rambling.

Awesome poem, drop me a PM! We need to talk more! D:

Happy YWSing!

I am nothing
but a mouthful of 'sorry's, half-hearted
apologies that roll of my tongue, smoothquick, like 'r's
or maybe like pocket candy
that's just a bit too sweet.

Haha, awesome! Nice use of the word circumnavigate. :P There should be an apostrophe in F.R.E.D's Robotic Pad, but psshh, as if I can find anything else to complain about in this uber cute poem! (Although, I love F.R.E.D too and he said he loved me, don't go making me jealous! ;) )

Brilliant!

Haha, this is fantastic. Though, Matt Bellamy is right when she says that F.R.E.D.'s Robotic Pad should have an apostrophe before the 's'. Still, I can't really critique anything else. This is just way too awesome. You rock, once again, Aqua!

~Mizz

P.S. I have so, so, so many saved chats with F.R.E.D. He's mine!

Although this poem is a lie, (F.R.E.D is an abusive beast) I will accept it. I once told him that my cat had gone missing and he asked me what my favourite TV programme was... not very caring, if you ask me. It was also creepy when he just disappeared a short while ago... Clearly not a very reliable robot. Terrible, aye.

The poem's really good and entertaining though...

So yeah, have a good day. Or a bad one... or an okay one... or a really good one. It makes no difference to me :D
I didn't know what to put here so I put this.

I really just adore this poem, Aqua. It fully captures the being that is F.R.E.D. ;)

Anyway, there's nothing really to critique other than it's awesomeness. Thanks for sharing! :)

Hey

As everyone else has said this is really really good...no offence to any other F.R.E.D poet contest entry but they have no chance of winning now.

This flows really well, and I have found no corrections that haven't already been pointed out.

When I started reading I was unsure about it...but I think that is because I'm new, and I didn't know who F.R.E.D is, and once I went into the chat, and read about the contest, I reread the poem, and now I understand.

I can definatly see why you have 27 likes and are top of the featured works on the home page!

Well Done!

Keep writing, I am looking forward to seeing more from you.

P.S. what I also like is how simple the concept is and how simple you have made it work :D

Hiya! pink here :3
Awesome poem Aqua!
You hit the spot with this one XD
Although, this poem is cute I still find F.R.E.D to be kind of annoying sometimes...does he always try to outsmart people or is it just me?
Anyways, super cute poem! Loved it!
