Writing my novel in deep
Concentration.
Trying to ignore the loud
Conversation
And shouting and screaming of the children next door.
Waiting, and dreading the arrival of the
Ticket Man
Trying to expand my concentration
Span
And there he comes, and there... he goes?
Without checking my
Ticket.
I’m relieved, despite the
Racket
Of the kids still screaming next door.
But here it is not
Loud.
And I have a reason to be
Proud
You know why?
Because I’m in 1st class without a ticket: and I didn’t get caught.
It's a very silly poem (like most of my work) and not one to be taken too seriously. However, I would like critique please!
