Unexpected, we met in Singapore
Until we accidentally exchanged our passports
First day of my soul-searching, I looked for you
I have to get back my passport.
Tired as I can be, finally I found you.
But things changed and somehow we liked each other,
And began to unite with one another.

When we went back to our own hometown in Korea,
I realized that life was breathing in my womb.
Unexpectedly, we met again,
Saw you with another girl then
And didn't ever want to see your face again.

So it's never gonna be a wonderful life to me
You broke my heart and I have to raise our child all alone
I swore to myself I mustn't see you
You made me so dumb to the bones, don't you know that?

But time passed and you found out everything
We were forced to be bound in marriage
You refused because of your girlfriend, not even a fling
And I ended up having this miscarriage.

I thought it's never gonna be a wonderful life
But I just hope that you'll try to love me 'cause I already have

And unexpectedly, things began to change.
We did try the second time all around
Love has suddenly brought our fates together.
And this I say now to myself,
How wonderful life can be after a not-so-wonderful life before.

Hey Trace, Gsp here! I'll be reviewing this for you today. :)

A warning; I tend to tear things apart, though I'm not the best at reviewing poetry. So I'm sorry if A, this review is horrible, or B, I tear it up so much that you decide to forsake writing forever and retreat into a sad dark corner for the rest of your mortal life.

... Okay, I really doubt that one review from me will cause you to forsake writing forever, but...

ANYWAY!

On to the review!

Unexpected, we met in Singapore
Until we accidentally exchanged our passports
First day of my soul-searching, I looked for you
I have to get back my passport!
Tired as I can be, finally I found you.
But things changed and somehow we liked each other
And began to unite with one another.

Good start here, I like it. I would get rid of the exclamation point after "passport" though. I don't know why, but it just doesn't seem to fit.

When we went back to our own hometown in Korea,
I've realized that life was breathing in my womb
Unexpectedly, we met again
Saw you with another girl then
And didn't see your face ever again.

I thought this was in past-tense? *points at second line* I would change that "I've" to "I". Also, and this is just a personal suggestion, add "want to" to the last line and move the "ever", like this.

When we went back to our own hometown in Korea,
I've realized that life was breathing in my womb
Unexpectedly, we met again
Saw you with another girl then
And didn't ever want to see your face again.

This is just a personal idea, you by no means have to do it.

So it's never gonna be a wonderful life to me
You broke my heart and I have to raise our child all alone
I swore to myself I mustn't see you
You made me so dumb to the bones, don't you know that?

I like this one. Nothing much to say here.

But time passed and you found out everything
We were forced to be bound in marriage
You refused because of your girlfriend, not even a fling
And I ended up having this miscarriage.

*sneakily looks up miscarriage in the dictionary*

:( That's sad.

I thought it's never gonna be a wonderful life
But I just hope that you'll try to love me 'cause I already have

This seems really short compared to the others. I'd try to add another two lines to this stanza if I were you.

And unexpectedly, things began to change.
We did try the second time all around
Love has suddenly brought our fates together.
And this I say now to myself,
How wonderful life can be after a not-so-wonderful life before.

Good ending.

All-in-all, I really liked this. Keep writing, and have a nice day!

Happy YWSing!

You are definitely telling instead of showing what has happened to you here. That's my only qualm with this piece, and I struggle with that sometimes to. Overall it was good and expressed alot. :D Good work. :DDDDD
