Where's shadow? Where is she? I could see her face in the back of my mind as I came to.

"Markus?" I called to the room next door. No answer. Of course he would take him and leave me. What am I, stupid? I tried the lock, and it was locked. The pain seared through me, and I fell to the floor. Whoever it was, I needed help, fast.

I wasn't sure if this is where you wanted to go with it, but I just tried to make it sound epic XD

Aurelie

I growled with frustration. I had thought that, just maybe, the lykens weren't that bad. That, just maybe, the war was unnecessary. That, just maybe, we could finally live in peace. I was wrong. They had to be stopped.

There was nothing we could do at the time. If we managed to catch up with them, they would only gamble their lives with us. We had to think of a plan. I looked at Shadow, my reasoning showing on my face. She nodded, understanding what I was thinking. I sat down next to her.

"We have to catch them by surprise." I said.

"Yes, but they're expecting us. There is no surprise." She countered. I sighed, and there was silence while we both thought.

"Maybe a diversion?" I asked. "That could work, depending on what it is." She nodded, taking it in.

"But we don't know how man lykans there are. We'd have to have a huge distraction for it to work, and even so there's only a small chance it will." I frowned, and continued to think.

"Maybe it's time for a real war." Shadow looked at me questioningly. "Think about it. We've been 'at war' with lykans for centuries, but we haven't really done anything about it! We've just been sitting there thinking about how terrible they are. Maybe it's time to do something." I paused, letting her take it in. "We could gather up some Royals and vampires and form a Resistance. Of course, we'd have to keep it a secret to some, like Cravin."

"Aurelie, I just don't think--" she tried to protest, but I cut her off.

"Shadow, the time to act is now."

I knew she was right, I knew we would have to shift the plates and set the war into motion, the only thing was, the 'war' we were in at the moment was only prewar, and it was pretty damn bad. What would the real war be like? I knew all of the Lycans would be attacking at the same time, but if only certain Vampires and Royals knew about it, I couldn't see how we would have a chance.

"It's a great idea," I admitted, watching her eyes light up. I continued, "it would be the best way to take them out all at once, to rid the world of the Lycans, but how could a few rogue Vampires and some Royals take down what is sure to be hundreds of Lycans." She frowned and the look she gave me showed that she didn't support my theory that most of the Lycans were probably hiding somewhere out of sight. Most of the Royals in the House didn't, but I knew, i'd seen a group of them here, in the tunnels.

"We don't know how many there will be, we don't know if there will even be any other than just Demon," she protested. I saw her side the way I'd seen it before--two or three Lycans attacking at the same time while five more waited to attack. Maybe I was wrong, maybe Aurelie was right. Maybe we could pull this off. I wouldn't know unless I gave it a chance.

"Alright," I agreed with a shake of my head and a sigh. "Alright, we can do it."

Can I make a smaller character that everyone can control? I was thinking of a lyken siding with the vampires(BTW evi doesn't care about her fellows. She's going on whatever side they as in shadow and Aurelie are)

I think that's a good idea :) Oh yes, and you should know (though you probably already figured it out) that I don't like vulgar language, so if you have a better word choice than what I have in my posts...for all I care, imagine that it's what you think fits best

Aurelie

"Alright, we can do it," Shadow said, though I could tell she wasn't all that up for it, "but we're going to take extra precautionary measures, just in case I am right." I nodded. She was probably right. "So how are we gonna do this?"

I sighed. "I'm still working on it. I mean, this all happened so fast. I'm kinda just figuring it out as we go."

"Well we've got to start acting soon. I hate to think about what that filthy lycan is doing to them now, or what he still has yet in store." I nodded, and we began talking and planning.

"I know there are plenty of Royals back at the mansion who are dieing to get out and do something, and who hate lycans. I'm sure they'd be willing to help." I suggested. "I think it would be best if I went back to get them while you gathered up others. You have way more connections than I do. Plus, you know Craven wouldn't let you leave again."

"Yes, but won't he be mad at you if you return without me? And he would never let many Royals leave like that." I took this into account.

"What choice do we have? This isn't just about Evi and Markuus. That's how it started, but now it's about something much more." She nodded.

"Meet back here." she said, and we were off.

Even with everything that was going on, I was finally...happy. I had never really considered Shadow a friend, or even really a partner, but now I was helping with decisions. I had a purpose.

Evi(np, Fox)

"Help." I croaked, though none could hear me. My shoulder and arm seared with pain.

"shh. I'm here to help." He said. Who was he? I don't know. It came from the corner of the room.Suddenly, someone took the cover off the air duct and a man came in. (next post will be his description) He was a tall man, I'd guess about 6 feet, with short brown hair.

"Who-" I began, before he cut me off.

"The name's Jeff Guadellos. I'm coming to save you, even though he's took Markus." he said. "Eat this. It'll stop teh pain in your arm while i sew it up." HE said. It immediately knocked me out.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I came to in the man's arms, outside. It was daylight. It was an awkward feeling, being carried like I was a kitten, by a stranger.
"Good. You're up." He said, "Can you stand?"
"I- I think so." HE set me down. I swayed, but he caught me and helped me to stand.
"We're going to find Shadow. I have information for her." HE said.
'You're a vampire?"
"No. I'm a lyken. But our people aren't the nicest fellows, oh no.Not where i came from. Maybe they'll accept me. Either way, I have some stuff to tell her" We started walking, me leaning on him. My leg wasn't hurt, but stiff, rather. I looked don at my shoulder, red hot with pain. It was sued up quite nicely. Now... to find Shadow and Aurelie.
"Can't you mind-call her or something?" I asked him.
"I was about to try." He said.He stopped, seeming to reach into his mind.
I felt a wave go over me, and suddenly I was looking through someone elses eyes,feeling the pain they felt and hearing what they heard. I could barely hear Aurelie call my name, like that was the illusion and this was reality. A saw a man I had seen before somewhere, but couldn't quite recall where.
Where are you? I asked, knowing Evi would hear me.
I don't know, she replied. I could find her without her saying. It was like a GPS thing I had. I focused on her surroundings, realizing she wasn't underground anywhere. He must've taken a detour out of the tunnels to some place above ground. It took me seconds to track her, and only a few minutes to convince Aurelie it wasn't far away. All in all it took maybe fourty minutes to get to them after that.
They stood outside ahuge facility in which probably housed Lycans and, hopefully, Markuus. They were behind a huge side buildings away from any windows and doors.
"So what's the plan?" I asked sourly to the guy. I sniffed the air near him, getting a scent. Then I smelt it, Lycan, and my nose wrinkled. Yea, I was one of them, but I wasn't rogue and cruel--to Vampires at least. I emediatly didn't like him, no matter who he was, what he was like.
Yes, I am finally posting xD
Markuus
I gritted my teeth, arms crossed, legs propped on one chair and my butt planted in another. My eyes werre narrowed to slits, following the wonderful (and by that I mean the absolutely despicable) Demon as he paced around the room. This stupid smirk was splayed across his face, which was rather unnerving. Not that I was going to show that, though.
"You couldn't have let the poor girl go, huh?" I muttered bitterly, thinking of poor Evi. What had he done to her, anyways? Or did I even want to know?
Demon flashed me a sly smirk and shook his head. "No, I couldn't have."
"'Course not. Now would you mind explaining to me why the heck you dragged me back here?" I was getting impatient. This was quite honestly the last place I wanted to be. Ever. Worse than Shadow's car, or any other thousand places I could list off. Here was by far the worst.
The smirk faded slightly, but held some ground. "You know what you are, why do you try hide it?"
"Because what I am isn't what I want to be," I retorted, praying that my voice didn't tremble as much as it wanted to. He couldn't seriously be bringing that up, could he?
"That doesn't mean you can escape it. Why not just embrace it? Your destiny's calling Markuus, why won't you answer?"
I rolled my eyes, unimpressed. "Don't use that line on me." The whole 'destiny' thing was getting old. How many times had that been pulled on me now? I made a move to rise from my chair. Demon wouldn't hurt me and I knew it. I was too valuable, and I posed a few more obstacles than anybody else was aware of.
"Don't move!" Demon shouted, snarling.
I rose both hands defensively, about to sit down when Shadow and company walked in. Ah, well, that was just perfect, wasn't it?
Guuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurl.
Perfect Ishy(:
The plan had been simpler than I thought--there were only two Lycans, both standing guard at the door, which were easy to take down.
I kicked the door open, glancing around the small room. Markuus seemed comfortable and free to roam around, and Demon was standing against one of the dirty walls, leaning on it with arms crossed and eyes tight. He jumped when he saw me, and a snarl come out of my lips. A smile spread across Markuss's faced and he came to stand next to us, but stopped when Demon stepped in his way, crouching.
"Just back up Demon, and I won't kill you now," I threatened. He laughed menacingly but didn't back down. I could smell fear coming from his body and I knew he could smell it coming from me too, but I refused to let my fear show through my perfect facade
Evi Wait... I think I'm still in the room, right? Or was I with him?I'm going to post from in the room.
I heard Shadow, in my head. Where was she? I don't know where, but my shoulder was beginning to hurt, real bad. If it got infected... I'll think about it when - if- it happened.
"Just back up Demon, and I won't kill you now," I heard a voice say. Perfect. Now the pain was making my crazy? Cu-cu for co-co puffs? I sat on the bench. I heard someone being thrown against a wall. Maybe I wasn't crazy!
"Markus! Is thtat you?" I said, walking over and pressing my ear to the wall. Pray they could hear me.
Aurelie
It was pretty intense. Shadow and Demon just glared at each other, both crouched like a predator, ready to pounce on their prey. Neither one dared show that they were the prey, they both kept their faces straight and stern, without any fear. I was crouched behind Shadow, potential energy streaming through every muscle in my body. I was tense and ready for just about anything...just not when the anything came from on the ground behind me.
One of the lykan guards at the door wasn't quite finished (I knew we should have killed them rather than just knocking them out). The larger of them grabbed my ankles--man his hands were huge!--and pulled my feet out from under me. Shadow turned around, surprised, and that was when Demon attacked.
I was still battling with the two guards...again. I was never going to take for granted the element of surprise again, which we had had the first time. Shadow and Demon were in a fierce battle, but it was hard to see much of it through the other large lykans.
Markuus managed to slip out during all the mayhem, and ran into Jeff and Evi on the way out, who had been keeping guard in a way, though they were mainly just hiding. Jeff was hesitant to leave us, but Shadow gave him the slightest expression that told him to get the others to safety first.
Shadow and I continued to struggle with the lykans.
(( I really hope that's okay. I'm only the slightest bit confused, but I know that can do a lot sometimes :/ ))
"No. I'm not running awy again." I said to them, a detrimed look on my face as I fell behind Shadow, next to Aureli(sorry I spelled it wrong). "I'm tired of it. I'm going to die, so I'm going to die fighting."
"Absolutly not." Aureli said. I stood oin place, ready to transform.
"Absolutly not!" I argued. I kicked high and hit one of the lykans in the face. They fell to the floor, but they wouldn't be out for long. Evi just glared at me determinedly and looked up at the moon. I growled, and Jeff pulled her away from us, breaking her gaze.
"NO! I'm going to fight!" She yelled, squirming in his grasp.
"And you will!" I said, "When you're strong enough. You'll get another chance." Shadow and I both knew I was right. We weren't going to beat Demon right then and there. He would call for more if he needed it, and we weren't ready yet.
"Evi, go!" Shadow commanded. She pouted, but she let Jeff and Markuus take her away. I would let her fight, but not when I knew she stood no chance. ((Sorry, but it just seemed like Shadow wouldn't let her stay. If she wants to like sneak away from Jeff and Markuus come back then she can.))
I turned back to the lykans. The one I had kicked was up again, but his face was red. I couldn't help but laugh a bit. Of course that made him even angrier. They were really beginning to irritate me. They would keep coming back!
