This poem lead me to write many other poems. This poem is so special to me, I have it memorised in my head!

Lonely
If you're feeling lonely and you don't have any friends,
It doesn't matter, it's not the end.
Just play with me, you'll be alright,
Not sad, just happy and bright.
So if you're feeling lonely you know what to do,
You can still play even if you're seventy-two!

For a seven-year-old's work, this is phenomenal! There is just one mistake, which I am sure is a typo; in the first line, you wrote "lonel" instead of "lonely." Did you revise this recently? If so, I'd like to see what the original looked like; it's hilarious to see how little kids write. Anyway, this is very cute. Nice work!

Thanks, I corrected it. I wrote this for a poetry competition but didn't have the guts to submit it.

The talent of an amazing writer, they can convey any emotion, make you feel thing's you've never felt, and help you understand that which you thought you never would.

You were seven?! Wow!!! This is really good for a seven year old! Its really cute!
Sorrow lasts through this night
I'll take this piece of you,
and hold for all eternity
For just one second I felt whole... as you flew right through me.

That is so amazing for a seven year old. :] If that's how you wrote then, I definitely need to check out what you're writing now!

Hey there!
So you were seven when you wrote this?
Awesome!
I wrote poetry when I was seven too, but I wasn't this good.
Actually, I don't even think I do good in poetry, that's why I don't write it . HAHA.

Nice job!

This is pretty adorable, especially the last line. My favorite line is the second, when you're saying it's not the end. It's Great for being written by a seven year old.

I am not going to criticize a seven year old's work unless it was super dreadful,
and this for the record was quite exceptional for a seven year old.
