These days, the world lacks color.
Originality is what we crave.
Dont be like every other.
Dont be the world's bland slave.

Be who you want to be.
Dont listen to the norms.
Jump up and down, show your glee.
Become wild and loud like a thunderstorm.

Dont be lead with a rope.
Be different and stand out.
Take out your telescope.
Try to find an exit and breakout.

This was pretty awesome. It flowed very well, and made me want to keep reading. Overall, I liked it! Keep it up! :D

Hello Kitty.

First thing, I love it. It flowed well and had a message. One thing you might want to change is 'lead' to 'led', since lead doesn't really fit. Also, you missed out the ' in "Don't". Other than that, I didn't find anything wrong with it. It's a lovely poem and I love it. *clicks like* Thanks for making me smile, and the beautiful poetry.

I liked this, the first line really does draw me in. And the rhyme is so subtle I hardly notice it.

I don't understand the 'take out your telescope bit...here I felt you tried a bit too hard to rhyme.

This was a bit frustrating for me because I couldn't find one spelling mistake or grammar mistake. The flow was good as was the way it was written. I disagree with The Truth Teller because I feel there is a lot of Originality in this piece, and I'm not a poet but I liked it.

Keep Writing.

Hiya Kitty! I love the flow. The message is good.

Also, Truthteller, Why don't you try and write something? The real truth is that Kitty probably likes her own poems and won't care what you say. No one here really has time for you to bad mouth people.
So back to Kitty. I hope you write more!

You're new? Great seas! Why haven't you gone to the Buddy System yet?

You're dealing with writers. The words "normal" and "usual occurrence" do not compute.

Okay, sorry for the randomness. I totally know I am not critiquing this, maybe I will. But more I want to just point out something that I, think, is wrong with most of the population. And I'm not attacking your poem, may I remind you. I liked it, just wanted to express my own opinion.

I get the concept of this poem, be different, basically. But these days, if you notice, everyone wants to be different. Everyone strives to be something no one else is. But if you do achieve this, and those who have achieved this, are considered "strange" and "unnatural." They're disliked and scorned, and separated from others. They are often out-casted and left to be alone, or find others of their kind. That is what makes the "cliques" and the "groups". And I do agree with what you're saying, be different, be expressive, be something nobody else is, go wild, etc. But, we say this, and then are hurt and bullied. We are harassed and become lonesome. We become sad and angry, and distance ourselves. We loose trust in others, and come to even hate ourselves, too.

I love the concept of being different, I guess it's just a hard thing to bear. But I wonder why so many people deep inside strive to be different, and in the end, it only gets them down. Why do others do that to them if they want the same thing? Is it anger that they couldn't achieve it, because they were afraid? Or jealousy that somebody else had a courage they didn't? Or scorn, because they find it foolish and don't wish to be different than anyone else.

When the truth is, no matter how alike we are, we'll never be the same.

So I don't know, it just kind of makes me wonder why it happens this way. And I'm being general with this, not trying to get into any specifics.

So what I really want to say last is this line: "Become wild and loud like a thunderstorm."
It's thunder-storming right now, lol.

But anyway, nice poem. Really, brava~~~!
