The Color of Democracy

Almost twenty years have passed
Yet the color remains unchanged
Like the sunrise from the East
We still hope that yellow will bring us peace

Bended knees and rosaries
Flowers and people's tears
People's revolt on the streets
In one voice begs and pleads

Our nation's yellow leader bade goodbye
Many were saddened and they cried
They never expected that the leader's son will soon arise
Bringing a new wave of democracy to life

This is a nice poem. I guess you're a Filipino. I am proud of you that you try to write down the true color of Philippine democracy. Mabuhay ka!

I actually bought a yellow shirt to support the Philippine's new president. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas! Long live the Philippines! :D

:smt023 :smt023 :smt023 Three thumbs up for you! Now, I would say, I'm proud to be a Filipino! I'm proud to be like you. I salute you for valuing the greatest legacy our late president Cory Aquino gave us, that is DEMOCRACY in yellow.

If I had control over the quote generator, I feel like I would put half of YWS in it.
