((ok, if nobody will post already, will!! >.< lol. I got a little carried away; I woke up by the sickening prank of a cat this morning, so i felt roused to write it... i dont usually write quite this much when RPing, and my writing usually isn't as dry as this. I just need someone to add some flavour and inspiration~!))
Jaymen found himself half-alseep, lying comfortably on his stomach, sheets tangled around his legs but his flesh warm despite their absence. Jay’s room was dark, just before dawn, basking in the warm fuzziness of sleep as long as he could. He choked and groaned as sudden pain raked down his back, eyes flying open and shaking himself out of his dreams. The teenage boy shifted and blinked like an owl in confusion, a strange stickiness and an odd furry weight on his bare back. Jaymen pushed propped himself up on his arms, and immediately jumped up and howled in anger.
“Demon cat! I hate you so much, Wasabi!” He roared, lunging at his sister’s evil black-and-white cat, Wasabi. The cat leaped gracefully off his bed and out of his reach as if nothing had happened, disappearing like a ghost. Jay hissed, rolling off the bed and pawing at the darkness of his room to find a light, stumbling and grumbling indignantly. The light flicked on, piercing and stabbing his eyes, forcing him to squint through the tangled screen of his eyelashes as he made his way across the forest of dirty clothes on his floor.
He twisted in front of a full-length mirror hanging on the wall, grimacing. Wasabi had clawed his back several times before he had scared her off, so his back smarted sickeningly and his skin was sticky with a thin layer of blood. Great way to start the first day going back to school.
Jay stomped out of his room and across the hallway to the small bathroom, locking the door and dropping his boxers so he was naked, running a hand through his coppery-brown hair. He sighed heavily, not terribly excited for the school year to start again. It would mean homework assignments (and he had bad work habits, so that was never good for him) doing irritating projects, humiliating himself in presentations, dealing with the other idiots in class, etcetera.
Jaymen stepped into the bathtub, drawing the curtain closed and turning the water on, testing the temperature with his fingertips. At least he could see his friends again for the first time in a while. That was enough to brighten his day considerably.

Jaymen liked his school yet hated it passionately at the same time. Just the sight of the brick, the partially dead grass, and the classrooms dimly visible through the windows... just brought back memories. He pushed his hair back from his face and adjusted his shirt self consciously, glancing at the other students filing into the school. He fretted inwardly of whether or not his friends would be happy to see him, if they had changed; whether they had classes together... etcetera.
Hopefully everything will be ok this year, he thought as he stepped into the school building, heading to the area where he and his friends usually hung out in the morning.

I waved frantically at Jay. I knew I was just a freshman (some of the upperclassmen were snickering) but that didn't matter. I threw my messenger bag to the side so Jay could sit. We were in the front foyer, taking up the back corner by the left wall. I had come here before and after school all last year (the middle school was just to the side of here), and now no one ever sat here but us. Guess they were scared to get the kids with the brightly colored hair mad.
Speaking of which, I quite liked how the crimson had turned out. Very good with peroxide blonde. Add that in with a black tee and red skinnies, and you've got yourself one awesome-looking fourteen year old, if I do say so m'self. I was leaning upside down against a wall, giggling as my hair pooled around my head. I skillfully grabbed a can of Sprite from my bag, opened it, and drank it without my body once threatening to fall.
Go team me!
I smiled and closed my eyes. I was odd, I suppose. I mean, seriously. I was Jaqi, the always hyper scene-girl contemporary dancer.
Now tell me that's not odd.
hey, Jude, don't make it bad take a sad song and make it better remember to let it into your heart then you can start to make it better.
I wasn't your average girl, so imagine how i felt. I was going to a new school, I didn't know anyone, and I was almost positive i wouldn't fit in. The double doors at the front of the school, were not to inviting, they looked as if they led into an army facility. Pushing them open, I could smell the cleaner, and definitely see the results. The halls were empty, and the office had a few workers inside. I walked to the to the office, as i entered, the bell rang echoing loud in my ears. They handed me my schedule and my locker number, with the combination.
"Miss Katrina, I'm sorry, but if you would have read the student handbook, you would have seen that fake hair, is NOT allowed." The principal said as he was inspecting my record.
"For your future reference, I have read the student handbook, and I am not breaking any kind rules here. My hair is not fake, its dyed" I said tugging on my hair to prove myself.
"Kat, just go to class." he replied.
"Yes sir." I said, walking out the door.
The bags were getting extremely heavy, it was a big relief to reach my locker and put it away. Looking at the doors numbers, I looked for my homeroom.
Sorry. I've been really busy lately. Didn't have time to make the first post. Thanks, though, Sidd-chan, for helping me out.
Sam
I walked into the school. I hated this place so much. It was so boring. The only good thing about it was seeing my friends. Cole was the first one I saw. I walked over to him, a smile on my face.
"What's up man?" I asked, putting my hand up in front of me in a position that looked like we were about to arm-wrestle.
"Not much." Cole replied, putting his hand up too. We gave each other a short guy hug then started walking down the halls. "You?"
"Nothing exciting. Just the same old boring routine." He nodded.
"I know what you mean. It sucks to be back in school."
"Ya, but it's good to see you. I didn't see you all summer." I said. As we walked down the hall, I noticed a particularly cute girl. I had never seen her, so I figured she was new. Wow! She was really pretty. I watched her put stuff into her lockers, and drop her bag. I rushed to her side to help.
"Here, let me get that for you." I said, picking up her bag. Cole smirked and walked off. I glared at him.
"Thanks." the girl said with a smile. "I'm Kat."
"Sam." I said, handing her her bag.
I am a fox, sly and quick. I never give up I never quit
School, yay. Where the heck were all my friends? I shoved the last book in my locker, and prepaired for homeroom. I took the last bite out of my breakfest burrito. Derek, my older brother smiled at me, his locker was right beside mine. I patted my chest and burped in his face, as I closed my locker door. He waved his hand in front of his face. "Nice one." He coughed. I smirked, patting his shoulder. "I learn from the best." I said, cocking my head to the side and slinging my bag over my shoulder. He grabbed my arm and out me in a headlock. "Come here Libber." He said rubbing his fist back and forth across my head. I squealed and flailed. "Quit it dairy!" I always called him that, because he was lactous intolerent. All that did was made him dig deeper. "What was that twerpet?" He asked, chuckling. I pushed on his arm, trying to pry my way out. "Quit it, that hurts!" "Quit it derek." I heard someone say, thank god he let go.
*could be anyone*

((I hope its ok that I inserted Jaymen to be the one in your post, Allmixedup!))
Jaymen felt an involuntary grin tug at his lips at the sight of Jaqi, waving her arm off at him before diving expertly for a soda, so typical of her. He trotted up to her, tossing his backpack to the ground and grinning like an idiot fox, cooing in a silly cheesy voice, “Why Jaqui, my lovely flower~ so nice to see you!” He scooped her up in his arms, stepping back off the wall with her cautiously, careful not to spill the soda can she was armed with, then began spinning with her ballroom dance style, “It has been oh-so-long since I’ve seen you, ma’cherrie! Oh, what is this? New hair? I love it daarling~” he winked, releasing her and laughing.
Jay always acted like he was flirting with Jaqi, but really he was just being playful; he knew she wasn’t really interested in romance. But she was just so tiny and delicate that it was fun to pick her up and play with her. He scrubbed a hand through his hair, tugging his tight white shirt over his narrow hips. Jaymen had an outfit that looked just like hers; he wore a tight long white shirt with Riot written all over it (one of Paramour’s album covers), black skinny jeans that flattered his legs, red converse, black eyeliner, his coppery hair framing his face and falling in his eyes slightly.
“How have you been, Jaqi? I missed you!” he laughed cheerily, then straightened and peered at a new figure flailing by the lockers that caught his eye. He turned and whispered to Jaqi, “Hey, I see Libby being mobbed by her brother; lets go ambush her!” Without waiting for an answer, volatile as usual, he bounded down and bolted toward Libby.
Jaymen hadn’t been really watching where he was going, and his shoulder roughly slammed Sam right between the shoulders. Jay stumbled slightly, the smiled and said cheekily, “Excuse me, Mr. Shoulders.” He hardly cared that he had just given a more muscular boy a ribbing, turning and prancing toward Libby who was struggling in an armlock only a few feet away, calling, “Quit it, Derek!”

I try to turn to see who it is, but Derek squeezes my head tighter, I swear, it was going to pop like a pimple. "Come on Derek, it HURTS." I scowled at him. I hear, whoever it is chuckle, was that Jay? I gagged under his grip, at least the nuggy was done. "Come on Derek, let her go." He jokes, but luckily Derek does. I rub my head as he shrugs. "I got to get to class anyway, see ya twerp!" He chuckled, picking up his books. I look back to see it was Jay. "Thanks, I swear he was going to squeeze my brains out." He smirks at me evilly, I sigh, not another ambush! "No problem. Libbs." I back into my locker, brushing my fingers through my hair, trying to get it under control again.

Eyeing herself in the girl's bathroom mirror, Delilah liked what she saw, for the most part. Her neon red skinny jeans hugged her figure like leather--she made a mental note to buy a pair of actual leather pants later on--and her loose tank top fitted at the right spots, but allowed some relief. She wasn't about to wear a corset, just to appear skinny , like some of the other girls seemed to be doing; besides, Delilah was already quite skinny. The sad part of her reflection in the mirror was the lack of a mango lollipop in her mouth. That, however, was due to the fact her older brother had eaten them all.
Letting her hair fall out of the ponytail she'd first put it in, Delilah took one last look at herself, threw on her gray hoodie, and walked into the halls of her high school. She'd missed this place.
But most of all she'd missed her friends, all of whom were rushing at her now. She smiled genuinely and met them halfway.
"I missed all of you guys so much!" She grinned.
"Just the guys? Not us gals?" Jaqi asked, smirking.
Delilah laughed.

"Thanks." I smiled, taking the bag from Sam's muscular arms and giggled at Jay's comment after running into him. I took out my notebook and drawing pad, along with my books and pencils, then placed my bag in the locker. Everyone can't be this nice on my first day, somethings wrong. I thought. I closed my locker, noticing a group of girls, who looked like they fit in with the "populars" I glanced at Sam, and quickly walked off, I can't get stuck in this position I thought. I wasn't trying to be rude, but I didn't know if it looked that way or not.
I beamed at them all. Delilah was so sweet, Jay so fun, Libby tough. I loved them all. I fished a mango lollipop out of one of the numerous pockets in my bag and bowed from the waist, holding up the candy to Lilah. She closed her eyes and bowed back, muttering, "Muchos gracias, senorita." before seizing the lollipop.
I smiled and grabbed my can of Sprite. I groaned. It looked like school was really about to start. "Aw. I have to get to class." I brightened. "I get dance first thing in the morning, can you imagine!" I said, emitting something that was between a sigh and a squeal. Jay smiled and Lilah giggled as I waved and hugged before jogging off to the studio.
I jumped up a little when I got in, flailing a bit and nearly spilling my Sprite. I swore mentally and tossed the now empty can in the metal bin. I ran over to the floor to ceiling windows. Making sure no one was looking, I began to dance. I ran into a flip, where I twisted midair and landed lightly, twisting on my toes into a pirouette. I beamed.
I heard footsteps behind me and nearly bolted. I wasn't used to being seen so soon after dancing.
"Are you contemporary too?" a voice asked.
>Anyone<

I woke up early around 5am because i was so excited that i got to hang out with my friends today even though i hung out with them every day this summer. When i got up i went and hopped in the shower for about 30 mins trying to get really clean, after i finally felt i was refreashed i got out to get my clothes on and by the time i got all ready it was time to hop in my moms car and go to school. When i arrived i suddenly felt a little edgey because this school has always given me the jibbers and i never knew why so i hurried to park the car then i slowly walked in the cafeteria to where all my friends are normally at the 1st day back at school. I ran over to them and sat down near a girl i dont think i have ever seen before.
The truth will come out baby, and you'll be the only one lost in the dark >:)
"Are you contemporary too?" Andrew asked suddenly.
Bewildered, the red-haired girl jumped a little and a slight snicker came right out from Andrew's mouth, almost exposing his pearl-white teeth that seemed to glisten with his (contact) blue eyes. Andrew examined the person quickly, without even the girl noticing it. She looked different; how she dressed and how her hair was dyed was totally dissimilar from the other regular girls who would ran after him. She didn't even look young or even a student.
"Excuse me?" Trying not to look embarrassed at all, the girl cleared her throat and raised an eyebrow.
Andrew gave out a small chuckle. "You can dance. How about trying out for cheer-leading? I'll bet a hundred dollars you'll get in, you can be even the captain." He said with an obvious sarcasm. The girl crumpled her face with annoyance, as a result, she started to turn her back and walked away with folded arms.
"Cheerleader, pff." She glowered, still audible.
"Girls these days...."
Andrew gave out a big sigh.
