Hand

Hand soft graceful elegant
Pale, peachy, white, natural

Fingers tall, curved, beautiful
Nails long, chewed. short
Painted green, pink, black, not.

Then

Falling catching,
Falling stopping...
Falling crushing
F a l l i n g

Hand
Reaching, twisting, turning
Wanting, grasping, finding,

nothing

I thought it was beautiful....I think you should find a way so that you don't have to explain it...just help the reader by letting them know that someone is falling...and then the rest they realize...it's their hand, and it's the thing that can save them, and it's beautiful and strange...and they don't catch themselves.................

yeah, I think it's uber-whoa.

Before you explained I thought you were like me and you sometimes lay on your back with one arm perpencular-ish and make it dance... I thought you were describing your own hand.
It was good. But I'm not sure if it was very special...

You shouldn't really need to explain the poem, a habit I know I do it myself. It was beautiful, hands are very expressive. Agreeing with PsyLynx, the impression of falling should be given, maybe then you wouldn't have to explain.. Readers should have to ingage their brains somehow..

Good job,
lovely poem.

The only problem I had with this poem was that you explained it at the end. Don't bother. It's beautiful and I think you should let readers think what they want about how you came up with it. Delete the italic and its lovely!!! :D
Never interrupt your enemy when he's making a mistake... unless it's to remind him that he won't fail... he just won't kill you.

this is lovely. awesome imagery; i love the last stanza. i guess theres nothing to say that hasn't been said, but i thought this was a really beautiful and kind of haunting poem.
