Hey Dawn Reports fans (all 3 of you) this could be my last report for awhile, and I might start up a new series of reports regarding the news and current events. And also focus on my Knights of Dawn story if you haven't checked it out yet I encourage you to do so. It might spark your interest.

They are an uncontrollable force of nature. They have been with mankind since the beginning of time and will follow us to very end. We frequently misinterpret them. Some even try to manipulate them. But all and all they are their own, yet we choose to give them life or take away their meaning. The study of them is Oneirology. The spiritual term is called visions.
Yet most often call them dreams.
Some believe that dreams can give us great meaning and focus in our life while others find them to be trivial and offer zero value. We are told by text books that dreaming is simply our subconscious mind running free as we sleep and nothing more, yet I believe there has to be some greater purpose for them. Why else would we have them? Why some nights we don't? Anyway you choose to look at it dreams here to stay rather it be good or bad they will anyways be with us. You'll most likely have one tonight!

Hey there,
I once read that we have more than 25 dreams every night and that we only remember those that affected us most mentally. Sometimes you don't remember having any dreams because you were not moved by any of them, but you did dream something.
Anyways, my dreams are special alright. Sometimes I have dreams that speak to me. Like when something is going to happen (I'm not crazy ;) ). There are countless of times where I dreamt my results in school exams and stuff and then they came out exactly like in the dream. Or when someone is going to die or going to have a baby...I dream that too. So, am I psychic?
I personally don't believe that dreams have zero value to me, I mean that is where I also get some of my great ideas for my stories...and the stuff I mentioned above 8) .
Great piece, informative and thought provoking. So you only have 3 fans :lol: , that's funny!

I believe the usual statistics for dreams is something around forgetting 95% of them. As mentioned above, most are average things that don't catch our attention; simple things, like tying your shoes or sitting in class.

I think I cherish dreams more than reality sometimes. They're the only place you can really relive old memories; at least, that's what they've been for me. I even keep hold of nightmares. I'm sure that every dream worth remembering holds some sort of significance to the soul, whether we consciously know it or not. For an extra ironic statement, dreams serve as eye-openers for when we wake from them. I've gotten plenty of ideas and have been given many different points of views from dreaming.

So, for someone who listens to their dreams, they can mean a great deal. Keep writing, dude. =p You have a lot to say.
You march forward;
I'm just a step behind.
Stars for the wayward,
Don't forget to shine.~

It is a happiness to wonder; it is a happiness to dream.
