So my Dad gave me some dip-pens and ink, and I diluted some to make two different shades of brown ink. The result was what you'll see below, but take note, the colorful one was done with mere pen and felt-tip.

This one has nothing to do with my latest ink.

I apologize for the size and the fact that the last one was off-kilter. I uploaded these on a computer that does not have my favorite editing program, and therefore I couldn't get them quite right (I had to use MSPaint, bleh)

I like the pictures, you have very nice detailing and color, but I don't like the perspective on the 1st and 4th drawings. It seems very strange and sort of throws your eye off. With this perspective, the stone pathway in the 1st drawing seems sort of unrealistic. Just a tip! Keep writing... or drawing.

Woah, Jen! These are so cool and pretty!
Keep up the good work. All I would suggest is to work on your view and angles, if you know what I mean?

Anyway, good job. Keep PMing me for any help! :D

Hey dude! Here I am again...

I'm going to admit that these aren't my favorites of yours. Don't get me wrong, they're good, but I think they could be better. :/

First one: This is definitely the best of the four; there's more detail and roundness to the picture as a whole. Even so, I think it's a little one-dimensional, in the sense that there's no story for me to figure out...

Second and third: Eh. These ones look more like bookends than actual buildings. Try adding on to them, if you feel like it.

Fourth: That's a building? It looks like a rainbowy book. ;)

Even if these aren't my favorites by you, none of them are bad, and I don't dislike any. I'll be looking out for your work!

These pictures are amazing! The detail on them is great, but I don't understand why you put the last one in although I guess you have a good reason. Thanks for putting them onto the site.

Thanks guys.
Rygel, it made it here because it was a building. :D
Knightly, yeah, it's a new style, but I don't really put it below any of my other artwork.
Freak! Speaking of angles, I used a 3D method to make the buildings appear...3D. I make two dots, and line between the dots, and then a bisecting line on the first line, and then many, many lines all over the...you know what? I just draw me up a specialized grid to help me along...in pencil, so then I can erase it later and do pen and ink over it. [/ramble]

I feel like a loser, because all I can do is stick figures. Stop being so amazing, Jen.

That's a very interesting style you've got there. You have some nice textures going with the wooden walls on the house and the patterns on the towers. I'm not too crazy about the last one, however. I would have liked to see more of what you did in the previous one, colour doesn't always make a picture better.

My only issue is the stone wall at the bottom right of your first picture. Proportionally, it doesn't fit in with the rest of the picture. It seems like it's parallel with the surface of the page, rather than facing off in the direction you wanted it. But other than that, they look really good.

OMG! Everytime I see your work, I am like "GOd I want the power to draw like him". The drawings always give me a clean and neat look, which is the best thing. The angles you made us see the angles from were mind-blowing. But I just didn't like the third(last one), though the colour scheme was very amazing.

Jenthura, I absolutely love your artwork.

I never have any criticism for it, and it's absolutely always magnificent. Your personal style is prominent in these, and I think you can really go places with this. Have you ever considered illustrating for books as a career? :D

I think your line work is absolutely beautiful. I absolutely adore how your verticals are straight when looking closely, but when looking at the picture as a whole they're not as straight as they seem. Wonderfully done. As are your windows. I've never been able to draw windows half good as that.

I also love the way you colored that last building. It makes me happy. :P

Keep drawing, please. :)

Jenny! I'm seriously working my way through your work right now!

Okaay, again, your work makes me want to puke amazement and a teensy bit of jealousy. It's rather good. :D

So, the first one is my favourite. I've got very used to you drawing more technological and city scenes (although I'm sure now you'll be able to dredge up a fair number of more rural drawings you've done) so this one felt different to me. You captured a feeling within it, and to me that's one of the best things you can do with a drawing.

The coloured one doesn't seem as technically good as the others. But I like it because it makes me feel happy. It's very cool.

I don't come to critique your drawings any more, just to pour fabulousness onto them. :D
