Love is like the Rain

When it comes it can drizzle or pour,
It will make everything amazing, better than it was before
It can also destroy, make everything ugly and grim,
Dampen a beautiful day, make it quite dark or dim
Nobody likes to be caught in it, but if that's how it turns out...
You want to get out very quick, I say that without a doubt!
You never go out and look for rain
Not only would that be insane,
But when you find it, it won't be perfection
And you might even end up losing your direction!
The rain will come eventually
Don't you worry, just wait and see
There's rain out there for everyone
Just patiently wait and it will come.

:( sad cause its true. You are good at this, you connect with your emotions well... your very deep into a level that many may never understand. Every one experiences rain in there life, just like they experience sadness and anger, its the human condition. Its inhuman to never be sad, but i do like the rain, especially in a romantic or suspenseful setting, yes even the time me and my friend fought in the drizzle, i couldn't get over the pure... Artistry of it all. This poem brings me back to those damp times that lead to the truth and happiness i feel today. *LIKES*

I like this, it has a different rhyming system that, though to some might sound forced, I see as an actual way of rhyming and therefore don't object to ^_^.

I really like the "You never go out and look for rain", and I loved how you wrapped the whole poem up at the end. The only thing I would suggest is that you break apart the longer lines into two sections, so instead of saying:

"IT will make everything amazing, better than it was before,"

You'd say:

"It will make everything amazing,
Better than it was before,"

Altogether, really enjoyed it- keep writing!

I dare you to move
I dare you to move
I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
Like today never happened
Today never happened...
Before. ---Dare you to move by, Switchfoot---

That was amazing! How did you get the idea for it?
Charlie Bucket: You can eat the grass?
Willy Wonka: Of course you can! Everything in this room is eatable, even *I'm* eatable! But that is called "cannibalism," my dear children, and is in fact frowned upon in most societies.

That was touching, and, another emotion undescribable. 9|10 stars! A little too sad...

I can relate to this pretty well. My relationship with my boyfriend has never been great. But after a while, you learn to enjoy it.

Similies is something I always really liked too!

But, the last two lines don't really rhyme that well. But, I know how rhyming is hard, so that's nothing to worry about. :smt003

Good Job!I really enjoyed reading it. :D (likes)
Don't frown, because you may never know who may be falling in love with your smile. ♥

I love the wording and whole idea of this, it's very clever. Reading the title I thought it would be horribly cliche (most things about love are, aren't they?) but this was sweet. There were parts that seemed a little off-rhythm in places, but now I think I'm just nit-picking. Great poem.
