My Pesky Little Itch

I got an itch, but this one won't go away,
I scratch and scratch but it's no use,
It will stay with me the entire day
I would tell others 'bout it
But I don't think they will know,
All the pain I go through just so it won't show
Come to think of it, it's not just and itch,
It's more or less a pain.
A slowly growing, hardly showing
Pesky little pain.
It will never go away
With me it will always stay
But some things in life we have to shrug off
Because in the end, do we really have a say?

ha! this is funny because its true. Stupid little itches! They start as an Itch, become an irritation then a pain! They are sooo annoying! Now im getting itchy! Im sending a copy of this to my friends! (with your credit of course;)) Keep writing!

I like this poem.
I feel like it's about an itch, but at the same time, that itch might represent something a bit bigger than just an itch. Something more important, but still just there and annoying. I like the way you structured it, from an annoying, painless itch to something bigger, and maybe even contagious.
According to allmixedup, it even IS contagious. =]
Because that's the joy of pietry isn't it? You can hide that biggest problems in, well, the smallest itch.
Loved it.
Keep it up. =]
