I don't understand
why people lie
why people cheat
why we lovw thwn hate

But most of all I don't understand
why we have war
why we're not sorry for all the wrong we've done
why we yell
why we cry ourselves to sleep

What I do understand most is
why we think
why we see
why roses are red and not blue
why we tend to be who we're not.

I don't understand most of these questions myself lol. But actually a rose is every color but red. So it really is blue :P. haha So I'm sure you didn't mean to type those "W's" so I think you should go back and correct the typos; and Adding periods to the end of each sentence or line. What ever you want to call it. I know it's a poem so it's not going to follow the standard. But capitalizing all the starting "why's" would look a lot nicer.

Well thinks for reading my story glad you liked it :D

Hiya there! I just have to say, I'd like to see this as some sort of an opinion essay. I mean, there wasn't much to differentiate this "poetry" from any other literary work? There is no meter, no rhyme, no figurative language, only a lack of punctuation and capitalization, which is quite alright for poetry. However, this has more of the appeal of prose, and I'd love to see you elaborate on it.

I'm sure that's just a typo -- after all, the "W" key is right next to the "E" key!

Hold on, what? Do you mean to say that you don't understand this? Because I can't think of any advanced neuro-scientist who actually and completely understand why we think. No opthamologist that I have visited (I have terrible vision) knows just why my vision -- or lack thereof -- is so. No botanist can say why the pigments of certain flowers are just so, and most people barely understand the meaning of the question: Why do we tend to be who we're not?

On the other hand, if I have misunderstood you, and you do indeed understand all these things, I might recommend putting this at the beginning of the poem. It is not the strongest point in the poem, and it is important to end strongly. In all, a nice poem. Let me know if you follow through with my suggestions and attempt to write this as prose!

I would change this too. Click the spoiler, please.
