How is everyone on this fine night? Well I just joined this and I'm really diggin' the stories I've read. I have just starting to try and sharpen my writing skills and all the advice and wisdom y'all have would be so appreciated! :D. I'm sixteen and in high school in a small town in Texas. I love Chuck Palahniuk, he really inspired me to give writing a shot. My favorite book is Cather in the rye. And may J.D. RIP. :(. But yeah I'm Atticus nice to meet everyone in this awesome community!

Welcome Atticus! It's great to have you. I also love Catcher in the Rye. It's a great book.

So what do you like to write? Poetry? Short stories? What genre?
What's your favorite color?
Do you like green beans?
What's your favorite holiday?

Can't wait to see your work around the site!

Pretending in words was too tentative, too vulnerable, too embarrassing to let anyone know.

I wondered why we put villains in our stories when we have plenty of them in real life; then I realized that maybe we wanted stories where the good guy wins.
