"Cleo? Why the blimmin' hell you'd do that for? Eve's better at the bandaging stuff, besides she'd done good last time. When a girl done good, you don't ever throw 'er out. It's hard to find a damn good girl."

"I'm sorry, Reg." I start crying a little. Reg pulls me into a hug. I needed that, and I think he knew it.

"Now stop bloody sobbin' and get Eve in 'ere to do a decent job," Reg smiles a little. I return the smile, and go to find Eve.

She is in the kitchen with Chris.

"Eve, Cleo did the bandages on Reg's arm wrong. I need you to re-do them for me." I say, nodding, and hearing her quiet footsteps behind me a minute later.

"Thank you, Riley." she says.

"For what? Its not through my doing you're better at this than her." With that I go into my room and shut the door.

Riley walked into the kitchen.

"Eve, Cleo did the bandages on Reg's arm wrong. I need you to re-do them for me."

"Thank you, Riley." I said.

"For what? Its not through my doing you're better at this than her." At that, she went into her bedroom and shut the door.

I smiled and rushed upstairs to where Reg was. It didn't take long for me to bandage him up 'properly,' as he said.

I went back downstairs with a smile.

"So, you're back on top." Chris said.

"I guess so." I said, still smiling. I still couldn't help but be mad at myself for earlier. It turned out I was still useful to the gang, and I figured a little help from Cleo wouldn't hurt. Things were getting better, and I was glad. It seemed that happened a lot. Things would be bad, but then they'd get better, then eventually something would get screwed up again. I knew I'd just have to get used to it, though.

I run to find James.

I finally find him in the living room. "I think most of this lot need to get out of the house, and a little heist wouldn't hurt." I tell James.

"And..." He raises an eyebrow.

"I need you to lead it. I have to stay here with Reg," I think, then add, "and Ace."

"Reg doesn't need to be watched." James says, giving me a questioning look.

"Maitea is here." I explain.

Sorry, I've been really busy lately

James~~

I overheard Riles and James talking about a heist, and I got excited.

"They need something to do, James." I heard Riley said. She was right. Most of us were probably bored to tears. There was absolutely nothing to do.

"I know, but...what if something happens?"

"We've gotten out of bad situations before and we can do it again if we need to."

"We've barely made it out."

"But we do!" Riley commented. "Just trust me."

It was silent for a second.

"If you won't lead it then I'm going to get someone else to." Riley threatened.

I head James sigh. "Fine."

I ran to tell everyone else the news.

In a short matter of time, it was only me, Reg, Maitea and Ace in the house.

I heard a rustling noise outside from where I was sitting with Reg in the kitchen.

"The cops?" He asks.

"And animal, more likely. I'll be back in a minute." I say. I take out my gun. No sooner do I walk outside then I am grabbed from behind. Before I can scream, someone puts a rough hand over my mouth.

"And they said getting you would be hard." A male voice taunted me. A sharp pain runs through my head, and then I don't feel anything.

I wake up a while later on a wooden bench of some sort.

"Where the hell am I?" I ask, sitting up. I didn't expect an answer, so when a raspy voice came from beside me, in a room seemingly separated by bars, I jumped.

"It's called jail, darl. Except this ain't an ordinary jail; It's where they put the real bad people." he said.

"Wait, what?" I ask, a little hazy.

"Yeah. What 'r you in here for? Or, better yet, who are ya?"

"Riley....Riley Evans." I say. HE chokes on whatever he was drinking.

"Ha, Bill," He yells to the cell next to him, "Riley Evans, caught at last. You owe me fifty bucks."

"I don't owe you jack squat!" he replied. "Riley Evans is a guy. No dumb ass Blondie can lead a gang."

"Excuse me!" I yell. then check my pockets. My phone was still in there, good. Maybe even sick, Ace's hacking and tracking skills would be useful.

It seemed like I had finally gotten to sleep when Maitea started shaking me.

"Wha...?" I asked drowsily. She held my phone in front of me.

"You got a text message. Says it's from Riley. I didn't open it."

Riley? Really? "I thought she was in the house?" I mused.

Maitea shifted her weight a bit. How sweet; she'd been sitting on the side of my bed for a good three hours. "I thought she was still here, too, Ace. What'd she say?"

I took the phone from her hand and pushed a button to open the message. My vision was blurry at first, probably the effects from the pain medicine, but it finally focused. "It just says, 'Help.'"

Just then, Reg burst into my room, his face twisted with worry. I had maybe a second to wonder if the man ever knocked when he asked, "Have you lot seen Riley? She was just sittin'--"

"Reg," I said cooly, already working on the situation. "I'm tracking her right now. Have a seat in that chair or something and hold your damn horses." A few seconds later, I had the coordinates. "They've caught her." I wrote down the information as quickly as I could and tossed it to Reg. "Keep in touch. I'm going to see what I can do about their systems from here while you go get her. And I know you might not want to, but make your calls to Maitea. With something that high security, we need to make it as complicated for them as possible. Mix our signals."

After Reg left, I looked up at Maitea. "Your job is to take his call, relay information, and most importantly, keep me awake."

I took the noted and clambered into the 4x4. Before I started the ignition, I reconsidered. This weren't a job for my beauty, I thought. Getting out, I locked it and clambered onto Riley's motorcycle, placing the keys in the ignition, I was off. I checked the notes as I went, making sure I was on the right track. Then, turning into some dirt road that went for miles out into the middle of nowhere, I noticed it. It was a gigantic compound, surrounded by electric wired fences, any building was atleast a few miles behind the fence itself. Security also seemed tight, with numerous numbers of men wondering around, their flashlights bared.

I turned the headlights on Riley's motorcycle off. Then, dumping the bike in the ditch, I walked up to the fence. Hell, it was definitely electric. I took out my cell phone and dialled Maitea's number; I couldn't care less about history now, it was professional, as survival had been when I was on the run from Uncle Freddy all them years ago.

"Maitea," I said.

"Yeah, Reg?"

"I need to know how to turn the electric off at this fence from the outside, without raising alarms. 'Cause the only the I can do is cut through it. So, Ace got a solution?"

"Hold on," she said, and I awaited my reply.

"Hey, look," I giggled as soon as I'd hacked into the main security system. "I can see Reg." I'd found a way to switch back and forth from the cameras. It was probably the hardest system I'd broken since that scuffle with the Spec Ops, and I was rather proud of myself.

Maitea covered the receiver of her phone. "Yes, it's good that you can see him and all, but you have to get him in."

"Oh," I laughed. "Right. Okay, he's at the fence...bye bye, fence!" With the press of a button, I shut off the electricity to the fence. Shifting through the cameras again, I found a door that was unguarded on both the in and outside. "Why do they have to make it so easy for me? All right, tell Reg that there's a blue door on the side; it says 'Supply' on it. It's probably the safest entry point, and I'll be bringing the cameras offline just before he gets to each one. If I can do it right, whoever's in the control room will just think it's being glitchy."

Maitea relayed the information, as I tried to estimate which cameras went to which hall. I flipped through them once more. "I found Riley. I can't quite see--this one's kind of high up, but for sure, she's in block C."

I hung up as I'd taken in the last of Maitea's information. Then, taking out some plyors from my backpack, I began to cut myself a hole in the fence. It was a time consuming task and had I had an easier way, I would've taken it. However, from a tactical point of view, this seemed like the best option. Once through, I sprinted a mile of open expanse hoping that I wouldn't be seen. I had to go prone everytime a searchlight scanned across the plains like a nosey hound.

In this darkness it was hard to make out colours, but I did notice "Supply" written across a door in white paint. Taking myself upto it, I peered through the keyhole before opening it. It wasn't that I didn't trust Ace's intelligence, but merely because I liked to be sure myself.

Opening the door satisified no-one was there, I'd found myself in a large, narrow hallway. Maitea had quickly mentioned Block C but where on earth that was I couldn't be sure. I couldn't use the phone either, in close quarters like this, I'd be heard too easily. Shit. Ace would have to find an alternate way to guiding me. Until that happened, I was alone, and this hallway was brightly lit, rendering my black camo-gear useless. I took out a knife just in case and advanced up the hall.

Through the camera, I could see Reg standing there, looking around before taking out his knife. He wouldn't use his phone in there; no way. So as soon as he was turned in the right direction, I took the camera offline. Hopefully, if it was like other security systems, the light on it would either change colors or frequencies, shut off, or a combination of the three. Even more hopefully, Reg would notice.

He seemed to; his head snapped up at it just before it went blank on my phone screen. I panned to the next one, and as soon as I caught a glimpse of Reg's arm coming around the corner, I shut that one off and brought the last one back on. If not done both perfectly and surreptitiously, they could catch all three of us. If in the odd chance someone was patrolling one of the halls, I would just shut off the power to that hall. But that was dangerous, as it would take the cameras off and I wouldn't be able to see Reg. I hoped that didn't happen.

I wiped the sweat off my forehead and continued trying to show him the way with any means I had until he arrived at a heavy door that read "Block C." Then, I shut off all power to that section of the building and waited for him to reappear at the next camera. Hopefully he and Riley would just retrace his steps.

"Why'd you cut the power?" Maitea asked me.

"Block C is the highest security in there. The only way I can both make sure he's not caught on tape and give them a bit of time is to kill the power. Now, the first thing the guard is going to do is go to the breaker box, obviously, but with this, I've disabled the breakers. Hopefully he'll be there for a while trying to mess with it, and there will probably be enough noise from the prisoners to cover Reg. How he breaks Riley out is up to him."

The power had been cut, and you had to give it to Ace. The guards were temporarily confused, giving me enough time to wonder around and quickly find the right set of cells. There Riley was, in the middle one, but between me and them stood four guards, each with torch lights. I couldn't be spotted by any of them, because that would cause too much heat with the people fumbling with the power. That would be a shit storm.

I jumped up and grapsed hold of a pole that ran across the ceiling of the cell hallway. Then, threw my feet over the pole, so I was hanging from it from my feet. There I waited momentarily before two of the guards were directly underneath me. Making sure I was quick, I slit the throat of the one to my right and twisted the neck of the one to my left. They were dead in seconds. However, the other two guards looked behind quickly. Thinking fast, I dropped down from the ceiling and ran for them. My knife found it's way deep into my first victim's neck. I grabbed the other one's mouth to keep him silent, kicking his gun to the floor. Then, I snapped his neck; cleanly does it.

I picked up some keys the guard had dropped from the blood riddled floor and walked up to Riley's cell. Placing the keys into the lock, I jarred the door open and walked into the cell. I flashed my torchlight on, noticing that Riley had company. The prisoners to the left and right cells were going crazy, but I ignored them.

"You took your time," Riley said.

"I'm here, Riles," I smiled, "Now, what do we do with your little friend?"

"Leave them, they can keep placing bets on how long it takes them to get their sorry asses out of here." I say with a scowl. I turn, and see an officer standing there, fully armed.

"Please tell me you have a gun." I beg.

"Do ya actually think.." Reg starts.

"Quiet, or I shoot the girl." the man said. He had his gun pointed straight at me. The guards eye's flicker between me and Reg. Suddenly, the guard is on the floor. Reg takes the opportunity and shoots him. The man in the cell next to mine grins, his hands still reaching out from between the bars.

"Don't say I never did anything for you." he said, and nodded at me.

"Someone probably heard that." I say to Reg.

"Let's get the bloody hell outta here then." he agrees. We start to run down the long, dark corridor. Before long, we make it outside.

"Remind me to thank Ace." I say when I'm finally in the sun again.

"We're all 'ere for ya, Riles." Reg says. I turn around just as another round of cops turns around the corner of the building.

"'Tis way, Riles," I said, running to the hole in the fence I'd made earlier. Riles went through first, I chucked her my gun so she could fire a few mindless rounds into the crowd of police. It didn't matter if they all missed, it'd slow the buggers down. Clambering through the hole, I phoned Maitea instantly.

"Reg?" She said quickly.

"Get Ace to turn the fences electric back on, let's go. Now please," I yelled, then hung up.

Riley and I wouldn't waste anytime, we ran to the motorcycle I'd left in the ditch and began to drive off. Though we hadn't gotten away just yet, there was a couple of highway police cars on our tails, with roadblocks infront.

"Shit," I grunted, "We ain't gettin' through here Riles. We're surrounded. Options?"
