There is a cave
Beyond the void
Beneath the abyss
On the other side
Of eternity
Off the edge
That God does not even tread
There, bundled inside
A wooden chest,
There is an old thing
A dead thing
An evil thing
Waiting
Waiting for his maid Pandora
The thing is Sin
And Sin is calling
Calling from a cave
From beyond the void
Beneath the abyss
On the other side
Of eternity
Off the edge
That God does not even tread
Inside a wooden chest
Made from the last tree
Of the ruined Earth

Oooh. I really like this. There's not much to nitpick here. It's just good. I love the imagery and the flow. *clicks 'like'* I really like the refence to Pandora and her box. I couldn't help smiling while I read this.

Anyway. Thanks for making me smile and the beautiful poem.

I agree with ScarlettFire on this. It's elegant, and simple. The rhythm is very smooth, and the imagery is straightforward yet symbolic at the same time. Really good!

Very well; I hear; I admit, but I have a voice too, and for good or evil mine is the speech that cannot be silenced.
