Yep. I think we fall in love with book characters because we can picture them in our heads the way we think they should be. I mean, we have the basic eye color, hair color; but besides that it's our creation.

And we love animated characters because they're drawn, so the artist can make them perfectly. The perfect eyes, hair, and body curves.

Tom Hardy was Eames and Joseph Gordon-Levitt was Arthur, I think. I was so busy keeping up with that movie that I'd forgotten all the character names by the time I wrote a review.

And for a contribution, Benedict Cumberbatch, AKA Sherlock Holmes in BBC's Sherlock, which is my current favourite TV show, at least partly because of him. Go watch it, it's awesome.
