What’s your reason?
What does your heart beat for?
What does it wait for?
Live, laugh, love, they are reasons but are they right,
are they mine?

What your heart races for,
What your heart clings to.
What is it, what fulfills?
Since black and white became gray, when will the day
come when I can make my way home to the truth! Truth!

Where did it go,
how come it’s sold?
Where is God’s truth? Like a forest, thick as night.
Gray. It has to be somewhere.

Lord where is it?
Shine down, burn the gray away,
make it day.
The moon, the stars, the sun!
How come we're undone?

There you are shining, shine down, let the truth flood over the dark.

Faster, faster!
We don’t have much time!
Racing, racing!
You are what my heart beats for!
It’s racing, trembling, shaking!
There you are!

First of all it is a gripping title which although verge's on the side of cliche is a great start!
Also i would like to say add more "enter's" by that i mean press the enter/return key more often. For e.g there should be a line between

a reason to wake, a reason to make

because those two statements would rhyme. This is just a suggestion but it would look a bit like this

Everybody has a reason
A reason to wake
A reason to make

By making the lines shorter it will make it faster/ more exciting to read.
I like the way your asking the reader questions at the start

It makes the reader feel like your talking straight to them I love this line

?? I don't think this is a fault on your part at all that i can't understand it! It has a lot of similes/metaphors which is good but try and make them a bit more original for e.g

Like a forest, thick as night

sounds really good but its just a bit of an over-used statement. I like the way you mingle the "gray" concept throughout the rest of the poem. I think the last line has a fantastic energy and excitement to it. And its great that you answer the question

at the very end because that keeps the suspense going. So WELL DONE Anyway i probably jabbered on for a little to long, this is probably the longest review i've done so thanks for reading it Just to sum it up, its a great storyline and a great poem i think if you fix up where the line's end and make them shorter than it can be even greater!

What your heart races for. <<< This line and the next line should probably be the same sentence because at the moment they are both fragments and it sounds a bit weird, so maybe change this first full stop to a comma.

come when I can make my way home to the truth! Truth! <<< Now what are you talking about? This has come so suddenly - what truth, and why is it so important that it needs to be repeated with an exclamation point?

Overall, it is quite well-written but it's just a bit confusing and I think you should think about the point you are trying to make and make it clear right from the beginning. Hope that helps!

I like the way your poem makes the reader think about why our heart beats, the line Like a forest, thick as night it creates a picture for the reader all thought the poem is a tad confusing it still worked out.

I like how it ties up.
Although, it sounded a bit rough, I can't quite pick the words out.
Overall it was fantastic.
One word that bugged me because it kept appearing was "gray" .
You could've used a bit more adjetives. They really help with imagery.
Not much else to say exept that this was very good!!!
