I wasn't sure where to post this, so I'll post it here.
............................................................................................

The End of my story will be in a min;
There's nothing to do but wait for a win;
so sit, watch, play, and grin;
for our little show is about to begin;

Hello! I'm not sure what to say to this, I found it rather strange. The end of the first line seemed to be forced to make it rhyme with the second line, and you seem to like semi-colons a little too much. :P So google semi-colons and have a look at what they're used for, because I think they're a little excessive here. But in general, this poem just confused me a bit - it's called the end, but it's all about beginning, and then it just ends! Maybe I'm missing something. :lol: It does rhyme very well though, I'll give you that. Keep writing. :)
Matt.

Hello!

Matt Bellemy mentioned semi colons. I'll address those first. They are basically a conjunction and a comma; they combine two sentences (independent clauses) together without the extra words.

Now, your poem. It seemed more like an exercise in rhyming, and was thus very content-light. The reader will get little out of it because (and, perhaps I am missing something) there isn't much to get. This is hard to critique; there isn't anything inherently wrong with writing to get phrases down. My advice, though, for the future rather than this poem itself, is to give the reader something to latch on to, an image. Focus less on rhyme. As a piece, the first line just sounds silly, the whole thing forced. Don't use rhyming as a crutch. For those future poems, use rhythm and imagery as the major muscles.
Blah blah blah blah?
