Art- Dinosaurs and Avatar. :P

Ok so you might have figured i'm avatar mad, and i decided to drawn a weird dino today.

I know there's something wrong... i can't think what. :S maybe it's because Avatars are built different to humans. There's also a background, but you can't see it.

Hey, I'm Kaedee. I loved the dino. Nice shading, shape seemed very good...no complaints! The Avatar one...yes, I think you should color it in, since they (the Navi or whatever they are called!) are generally very colorful. It would add a lot. I think the torso should be a bit longer, and the eyes need to be a bit bigger. Otherwise than that, I think you did a great job!

Okay, so I finally got to see Avatar last night and let me tell you, I’m in LOOOOOVE!

I think the dinosaur is proportioned well though it could be way more unique.

Look at the oddness of him. (sorry the picture isn't the greatest) I’m sure your dino has been at least somewhat inspired by the Toruk when you see them, they really make an impact.

Kaedee was definitely right about adding some color to your Na’vi. Another thing is that the hair seems a little flat. I remember how much I admired the volume of the Na’vi’s hair and the way it seems wild and very Amazonian. Adding some more to the hair would definitely give it more of an impact.

Color is key really though. Both are images that could have so much more impact with a bit more color.

the dinosaur is nothing to do with avatar at all... it just looks similar. it's something like a Rhyma... rhymaph... something. I dunno. but it ends in 'us'. as most dinos do. and thanks, i'll get colouring and i'll post updates here tomorrow or whenever.
