Prose poetry is one long sentence without grammar or punctuation, usually about a childhood memory. So please don't tell me to fix my grammar!
I wanted a pony but Mom and Dad said no you can't even keep a freaking fish alive which just wasn't true my last one had lasted almost a week before ascending to the giant fish tank in the sky and so I went out and found a rock and put it in my pocket and named it Rocky Rocks make great pets because you don't have to feed them or water them or do anything and they'll be fine and sometimes I put it in my pocket and during recess I sang songs to it and during class it would be in my pocket and I would stroke it which my teacher found extremely disconcerting what are you doing down there she asked stroking I said she thought it necessary to call my parents who released Rocky back to the natural habitat of our driveway while I tearfully waved goodbye
