RAF (Radiating Amoral Flames)

from lancaster they came
the class of '45
fiery demons with
wings and sharp tails

did you see
their phosphoric eyes
or the gleam
of 7.62 browning arms

collapsing buildings
with their 23,500 ft reach
piles of bodies
burned in the night time

those skydemons
disappeared
leaving beacons of fear
to light their way home.

I liked it. Reminds me of War of the Worlds, though I know you meant World War II. You got really good descriptions, and there's a good feel to the poem. Plus, I really like any story/poem about war.

One spelling mistake that I noticed: firey should be fiery. Also, while correct, skydemons is more often spelled as skyedemons. Although, that may just be an American thing.
