English Assignment: Analyse A.b. "Banjo" Pattersons poem, The Man from Iron Bark.
Okay here goes nothing, I have an english assignment due in two days and I haven't even started and it is a 700 word S.A. about Banjo Patterson and his poem, the man from iron bark. Okay I am truly stressing out here *Hyperventalating*.
Please don't just read this and then say meh thats your own fault because I do not want to fail english here!
I need to know what the poem is about (Subject Matter), I mean I keep reading it and all I get is that some guy hits some other guy and something about a haircut! You see! I suck at poetry.
What was the purpose of writing the poem? Yet again I do not know!
What are the poetic techniques used? I think there is a similie in their somewhere or something.
Those three questions guy...I need to know the answer or I am rightfully screwed. Please help me! And make it as detailed as you possibly can in answering those questions cause I have nothing, I am sitting in front of a blank peice of paper and can't think of anything.
