*let's get this startedddd *wootwoot!

Abbey~~

Abbey fiddled with her charm bracelet, naturally it would become quiet when she had no idea what to do from there. In the afternoon light it sent scattered beams across the cafe's table, she then looked out to the busy walkers outside of the cafe's large windows. Letting out a sigh she looked at the people, wondering why on earth of all places- here? Why not New York, or some historic London? She didn't care really, just an amused smile spread across her face.

Then the shard glowed an incadesent red at someone passing by, mirroring their movement by rolling in the air. Her mouth opening into a slight 'O' Abbey ran out of the coffee house and into the person.

"Hey!!" She yelled in a friendly voice, "I bet you have some sort of clue of what's going on or this is a cruel joke!!"

*this can be anyone.

** I'll do it! **

Fox

Fox looked at the girl who had run into her and frowned. "No," she said in her lilting accent, "I'm sorry to say that I don't. I was called here, but I don't know why."

She touched her diamond necklace and sighed. She didn't like not knowing what was happening, but it did make her feel slightly better that someone else was just as lost as she.

Grinning, she held out a hand to the stranger. "Hi, I'm Shaper, but you can call me Fox. You are?"

The girl smiled and took her hand. "Abbey."

Fox smiled. She was already back in America for only a few hours and she already had a new friend.

The cab stinked. I didn't even know where I was going. Finally, out of the swamp, for the first time in...forever, I think, and I'm still stuck in a stinking sticky area.

I pulled out the glass card. It seemed to stop pointing in any direction, so I figured it was some important place, considering it had been glowing since a week before the plane.

I pulled out a boxed deck of cards from my pocket. I took out the deck and I stuffed the glass card into the center of it. If it was insanely important, it would be a good idea to keep it hidden. Who knows why it was important, right?

I was just about to put the deck back into the box, when it glowed again. I pulled the card back out and looked where the red glow was pointing at. The light followed two people who were outside of some café.

"Driver, can you stop now?", I asked. He hit the brakes instantly. This guy didn't like me, or at least his job. I gave him a $20 bill and got out, walking off the street on to the sidewalk.

"I'm sorry if this seems rediculously creepy or strange that I got out of a cab that stopped in the middle of the street, but I've got some card here that's glowing at you two. Are you important for some reason?", I said to them, showing them the card. It wasn't glowing anymore. Considering it stopped glowing when I got to the town, then I guess it didn't glow whenever I was in the right place.

"Well, it was glowing in the cab. You gotta believe me, it really was glowing", I said, trying to prove I was telling the truth. I think they believed me, but I couldn't be certain. They both looked at eachother, shrugged, and looked back at me.

I had fleed. The necklace began to burn a couple days before but I paid no heed to it. Then the voices came. Well more like voice who called me to the middle of nowheresville. I being the bored-to-death cliche rich girl of course told my mother I would go. She refused to allow me because of "grades". Yeah straight A's are sure a reason to refute my simple request.

It was her infuriating obsession with the beautiful star necklace my grandmother had passed on to me, neglecting the obvious hints my mother unsubtly dropped. It was pretty pathetic. At one point she resorted to attempted bribery to get it from me. My father, of course, did nothing to stop her.

I used my private account to buy the plane ticket and had packed simple clothing. The thrill was intoxicating, I had never done anything like it. I had gotten economy so as not to fit out. A gorgeous 17 year old girl in Converse and Neversaynever sweatshirt who looked rather pampered and spoke quite eloquently was sure to stand out. So now whenever I speak out loud, I try to mimic another normal teenage girl. It took the entire trip but watching Mean Girls and reruns of Degrassi and Gossip Girl got me somewhere further than the perfect speech I had grown to known.

"Ma'am the plane has just landed. You were asleep so.." A hostess said.

"Oh, yes yes. Talk to Mother about the check. Thank you very much miss" I replied. She looked at me bewildered as I rose from my drowsy state. I blinked several times and remembered where I was. I let out an akward laugh.

"Oh. I'm sorry, erm school play" I said, hoping she would buy the lie.

She shrugged and walked away toward the cockpit of the plane. I grabbed my bag and walked down the stairs to the taxi area.

"Um..just drive me to the nearest hotel please" I said to the bored looking taxi man.

"Yeah"

We had been driving for around ten minutes when my necklace began to burn again.

"Ow! Stop here!" I blurted. The car schreeched to a stop and after paying him a 100 as I had nothing else, the car drove off and I found myself in front of a small cafe.

"Told you two I wasn't crazy. Something's going on", I told the two who were first around. I turned around quickly. The street by the cafe was blocked up completely with cars honking at us, and drivers shouting profanity at us too.

"When did we say you were crazy?", said one of the original two I had met.

"Look, tell me why this thing was burning a moment ago", said the new one.

"Uh...everyone? Maybe we should step away before some angry drivers put our heads on spears?", said the other one of the original two. We all agreed and walked into the cafe around a large table.

"So, I'm Tristen, and this is my weird glass card", I said.

"I'm Abbey, this is my glass bracelet", said one of them.

"People call me Fox, and this is my necklace", said another.

"I'm Prim, and this is my necklace", said the newest one. Fox and Prim looked at eachother after they both discovered they had necklaces. So much for complete variety between us.

"Now that we know who we are, what's the deal with our glowing glass?", I asked everybody.

"You stupid girl, can’t you do anything right!" My uncle shouted his face turning stark red.
My eyes widened with shock as he slammed his hand next to me making the plates shake . I watched as he pulled a piece of paper from the back of his jeans and placed it in front of my face.
"You spent $750 on medication!" His spittle dropped on to my cheeks making me flinch. I watched my small brother behind him turn on the tan coach and stare at us, fear covering his eyes.
I didn't say anything, keeping my head dipped I wished him away squinting slightly expecting his hand to come slashing over my shoulder.
"You wench, speak to me!" his chubby fingers wrapped around the necklace at my neck wrenching it off. I screamed as I watched the last trace of my mother being thrown across the room striking the door. Letting the oak chair drop to the tiled floor behind me, tears prickled in the corner of my eyes. I felt a meaty hand wrapped around my wrist, I turned to see my uncle digging his nails into my arm.
"Let me go!" I screamed at him.
"You spent all my money on medication for your stupid brother and it isn't even the right one!" He roared back at me. My fist clenched, my fringe falling into my face.
"You said to get that order..." I tried to wrench my hand back but his grip only tightened.
"You are a stupid as your mother!" he screamed. I felt my heart stop, staring into his hazel eyes all I could see was sheer rage.
"Don't speak of my mother like that” I shouted into his face, adding quickly “and let me go!" I tried to move again though this time he pushed me back sending me falling to the floor. I rolled to my feet diving for my necklace, picking it up I surged towards the door flinging it open.
"Ass!" I screamed ignoring the splitting pain in my side. I began to run, sprinting out of the door slamming it closed behind me. The busy streets stunk of exhaust and metal from the factories around it. I began to run clenching as tightly as I could to my necklace. I began to feel my fingers tingle as a warm sensation ran up my finger tips.
"Get back here young lady!" Ignoring my uncle I kept on running my heart pounding in my ears. I turned down the street running past the busy pedestrians bustling through the narrow walk ways.
The heat of the necklace began to feel like fire, staring down I watched as red light glowed from my clenched fist. I frowned down at it, the heat becoming unbearable.
"Hey wait!" A voice yelled after me. I stopped, this voice wasn't familiar. I looked down at my necklace to see it was burning red, I trilled letting it drop as I stared at my burning hand.

(Anyone can come in now, sorry if it is too long I am just so excited :smt005 )
