try to make a story where the setting is surreal or dream like or make the MC not human but something that looks human such as a puppet or a doll who are alive and living secretly in our society...?

That is a great idea. what mythical human like creature would you pick? I would have to say I would pick a fairy. Maybe I would base the story in a big city like Chicago.
well, i'm doing mine with puppets or marionettes...
to be honest, fairies are a bit used too many times...try having something that looks human but is not used many in literature. How about a doll that is abandoned or a training dummy...
