what is your fave book of 2009?

My favorite book is a book that I have already read but reread due to the movie adaption coming out: The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. It's one of my favorite books, and I think will always be a favorite book.

formerly it was the hunger games by suzanne collins but now its The Harrowing by Alexandra Sokoloff

Wow...okay let's see...I've read a lot of books I like this year. I really like Jane Austen and Nicholas Sparks. Some of my favorite books of 09 would have to be Dear John (and there making a movie in february!!), Pride and Prejudice, Breaking Dawn, The Notebook, Interview with the Vampire, My Journey with Farrah (I love Farrah Fawcett and it kind of bummed me out when I hear she died:()

For me it's a tie between 'Gone' by Michael Grant and 'If you could see me now' by Cecelia Ahern.

And to 'Urban,' this year I'm hoping to read 'The lovely bones' - I got a copy for Christmas =] I really want to read it before the film comes out. I hate watching a film before reading the book.

I've read many good books in 2009, but if I was to choose my favorite, it would have to be either Sherlock Holmes The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle or The Lord of the Rings the Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R Tolkien.

Er... Diplomatic Immunity by Lois McMaster Bujold. It's an adult book.

"Under the hood" by Stephen King. That actually took me a while to finish.

i would have to say...peter pan-j.m.barrie. I'd actually never read it before and super super enjoyed it or the Percy Jackson series by ... that one guy. They made me laugh!
