I loved everything from Lady Gaga. Paparazzi was probably my favorite. XD
"A lady's imagination is very rapid; it jumps from admiration to love, from love to matrimony, in a moment."
-Pride and Prejudice

"Good writing is supposed to evoke sensation in the reader—not the fact that it is raining, but the feeling of being rained upon."
-E.L. Doctorow

I think "Tik Tok" by Kesha was my favorite this year. "Soul Sister" by Train was a close second, though.

All those songs sound so interesting!
Come sail the stars with me
Through the sky not through the sea
Come sail the stars with me
Take me hand and make believe
Come sail the stars with me
Through the sky not through the sea
Come sail the stars with me
Take me hand and make believe

I don't really pay much attention to the charts...but my favourite song released in 2009 has to be Sleep Now by Angelspit. It's so creepy!

It was Taylor Swift's year, so pretty much any of her songs...I like them all.
Apple of my soul,
Eats me whole,
Take one bite,
No delight,
Rotting hole.

"taylor! taylor! go... taylor!"

She's amazing.
Sometimes B sharp,
Never B flat,
Always B natural.

I love writing songs and listening to music and books and daydreaming and coffee at five in the morning.

Waving Flag by K'nann.

With apologies to...
Two by The Antlers
Jim Cain by Bill Callahan
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
