So did an avatar drawing thread before, well, here's my photos I've done to make ME look like an avatar... (the ears dodgy)

I was just messing around with these and i was very bored. Anyway.... you might have LOL'd looking at those. What do you think?

Hey Carly! Well, seeing as they're all the same images, edited differently, I'll just review the first one. First off, do not use the lighting glare so obviously. It puts an idea in the viewer that it wouldn't be so good. Also; here, I would suggest you ti blend the glare with a little white (in brush mode) aqnd make it less glaring. 2.I like the blue skin effect. Good work! So is the wonderful expression in your eyes. 3.The second chain you've drawn sticks out and looks like you've added a chain of lightbulbs. I think they should be of a duller colour. Try different blending modes, to make it look like you're actually wearing it. 4.The ear is fine, but the orange ring around it seems weird. I don't get what you're trying to do with it. Since, it's opacity is reduced, I'm thinking it;s something under the layers of hair. For that, I would suggest drawing the ring with full opacity and using low opacity and your hair color, draw layers of starnds of hair.
Anyway, good skills. Keep working on 'em and have a good New Year! ~Lava.

Hi Carly! Haha, yes these pictures made me smile, very nice and by the way, you are very pretty!
The first one is my favourite, I like the subdued blue colour you've used and it doesn't look too over the top. Your eyes look fantastic-- very avatarish Oooo, and I do love the really bright shiny light thing in the middle of your forehead, I'm not sure what it is suppose to be-- but I like it.
The second one: I'm not too keen on this type of effect in general (it must be all the squiggly lines and such!)
The last one I'd say is a bit too blurred for my liking but it's still cool
The photo of your brother? Lol
Overall, nice editing, and have a Happy New Year!

Four kinds of people I hate most in life. 1. People who use a preposition to end a sentence with. 2. People who can't count. 3. People who think it's 'clever' to quote ironic phrases.
i don't really know how to make it look like i am wearing those things... :S

...yikes. I am not a fan of editing photos like that. Using natural elements to edit your photo is much better. Like taking the picture at an angle so that the sunlight makes it all cool looking. These photos just look a little...I dont know... strange. Sorry, but i hate to lie!

I like the first one. Gosh, now I feel like getting photoshop. These are cool. Funny on the last one about your brother. I think they are cool. I'm guessing you're in love with avatar? ^.6
