Awww! Flower, this is so cute! Was this a sketch of an actual person, or did you just from your head? Either way, it's great. The only little faults I could find in it were:
The eyebrows- At first I didn't think there were any, but then I looked closer and realized there were, maybe it's just the scan/picture, but I would darken them just a bit.
The hair on the right side- the hair on the rest of the head is wonderful, but on this part to me it looks a little like straw, kind of sticking out everywhere, and in big clumps.
Other then those things I think this is great! I wish I could do eyes like that.
Keep up the good work! ~Hope
"I'd rather be hated for being who I am, then loved for who I'm not."
Haha, when I saw the title, I thought you were talking about first person perspective! As in point of view! I'm pretty silly sometimes...
As Hope said, the eyebrows should probably be darkened somewhat. And I think the same thing goes for the hair when it reaches the forehead. Right now it looks like a gray wisp.
Next, the ears look totally different. And I'm pretty sure they're not the same size or on the same level. But hey, as your title says--first person ever! This is a great first person ever. I'd never be able to draw someone like this. Unless, of course, they were from the shojo manga world...bwa ha ha ha ha...
Heh, sorry about that! Anyway, the nose looks like it's tilted too far to the left. I don't think the mark directly above the mouth should be there. Also, the mark by the right eye shouldn't be so dark--in my opinion.
Anyway, great job on this! This is your first one, so I gave you a longer review. Please keep drawing and posting!
"We're all born with selfish desires, so we can all relate to those feelings in others. But kindness is something made individually by each person...so it's easy to misunderstand when others are trying to be kind to you." --Fruits Basket Book 1, page 134
First, let me say, for this being your first time...great job! I am going to call this a baby figure because I think that's what you drew. That's what it looks like.
~The Critic~
1. The overall frame of the face- On the left side, the face looks fairly boney. On the right side, it looks like a normal, healthy, fat baby. When it gets to the chin, you missed a few minor details that most begginners miss, like where the chin comes below the lip there is always a crease there. I also find the lines a tad thick and it looks like the baby's head is tilted, but the face is centered. I would fix the frame to fit the features of the face.
2. The ears- Well, first of all, I only see one. And that one that I see is on the left side, and I think you caught the detail of the ear fairly well. As for the other side, I noticed someone before me said that there were two ears, and I really hope the thing I'm looking at isn't an ear. I hope it's a curl.
3. The hair- I like it. You captured hair very well. Though, shouldn't there be a barret holding the bangs?
3.Eyebrows- You made them thin, which is good. A baby's eyebrows are very thin. I also notice that one eye is more centered to the eyebrow(the left one) than the other. I would maybe pull that right eye over a little.
4. Eyes- I have to admit, I like the shading a lot. You did very well, there. I also like how the outline of the bag is made very faintly. I also notice no eyelashes on the top, nor bottom. Babies have eyelashes. I would draw some.
5. Nose-Eh...from everything else I have observed from this drawing, I know you can do better on the nose. Pull the left line up to about the eyebrow on the left eye. Also, the nostrils were bothering me. I don't know why, but they were. And the left side of the nose is jutting out more than the right side does.
6. Lips-They were okay...I think they might be a tad too thin compared to the other features on the babies face.
7.The Face-since I am assuming this is a toddler, I would pull in the features (Eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrows) just a tad closer in together. That is just a suggestion, though.
Since this was your first drawing of a person, I say well done. You have a natural talent there Keep at it.

You're more than wonderful More than amazing The irreplaceable Love of my life You're so incredible In these arms tonight The irreplaceable Love of my life
Thank you for all of the reviews I needed them. I will try and darken and move and postition, I was having some trouble on it. The picture is of me when I was really little. My head was tilted tward the side and I never smiled haha. My hair, I will put something there to make it look better, but in the picture my hair just kind of stuck there. Anyway I will have to work harder on it. Thank you again!
My reality comes to a close as I once again realize that you don't love me, and even if I love you with my everything you will never care.
Hey Flower Child! First off, I have to say this is awesome for a first time attempt, well done! I just have to give you my personal take on your artwork.
The first thing I notice about the picture is the how disproportionate and wonky the nose looks, so I would try and straighten that out to improve. Also, the lips seems a little strange, almost too thin in proportion to the rest of the face.
Overall, I great picture! PM me with any questions or if you need me to review any thing else

Four kinds of people I hate most in life. 1. People who use a preposition to end a sentence with. 2. People who can't count. 3. People who think it's 'clever' to quote ironic phrases.
Hello, Flower! Very good drawing -- much better than anything I can do. But I do see a few things that would be better if fixed...
The eyebrows need to be darkened some, but not too much. I also think they need to be moved up a tiny bit.
The eyes don't seem to be looking in the same place. One eye is looking towards her right, and the other one is looking straight ahead. They also need eyelashes, try not to overdo the eyelashes though. Otherwise, they seem okay to me.
The hair on her left side looks wonderful, but the top and the right side I think needs to be changed. The top seems like its too flat...and the horizontal lines making the top make it look wrong. The right side needs a little more curl to it, I think. It's a wonderful job for hair though.
The mouth seems way too small. It is a good mouth, but it needs to be a little bigger to fit the rest of the face.
The nose needs to be changed big-time. I think it looks in a way too bulky or oddly shaped compared to the rest of her face...may redraw it?
Her face on the right side seems a bit odd, like she's made out of clay and you pulled parts outward more. I don't think it should be superflat, but at least a little less sticking out in spots. Does that make sense?
Like I said, it is a wonderful drawing and it looks like a lot of work was put into it. I really enjoy it.
Let me know if anything I said doesn't make sense, and I'll reword it. =)

Wow, that is very good! I couldn't draw people like, that! Let me tell you, when it comes to drawing little children I screw up big time. Ha ha, I feel kind of jealous that you can draw that good I like the shading in the hair and lighting in it too. The eyes are cute and work good with the shine. The ear is a bit too low, but overall I love this drawing! I can't believe this is your very first drawing of a person! I mean off the bat you are talented! Keep drawing! ~Skyy.

Aw. It's cue. It reminds me of a little girl. The ear needs to be a little higher. Ears are usually inline with they eyes. Also the nose is a little large. Noses are hard. They take a lot of practice. I'm amazed that this is your first attempt at drawing a person. Very good job.
