"This is the end," she said. Tears rolled down her cheeks.
"But why?" he asked, confused.
She closed her eyes, and clenched her fists. "I don't w-want to see y-you," she sobbed. "I'm letting you go."
"I don't understand." He reached for her hand, but she refused.
"If you really love a person, you let him go."
"Do you believe in that stuff?"
"Yes," she whispered.
"You don't love me anymore," he said.
"You refused to understand. That's not it." She wiped her eyes.
"What is it then?"
"Ummm..."
He sighed. "Well, if you don't love me anymore, can I ask for a favor?"
She looked up. "What is it?"
He hesitated, then looked up in the sky. "Tomorrow, will you tell me you don't love me?"
"I-I'm not going... I have something to do," she murmured.
"I'll wait. No matter what. At the park"
"Suit yourself. I'm really not going." She walked away, leaving him behind.
Next day is a rainy one. The girl looked outside her window, as rain splashed on the sidewalk. Strong winds blew leaves and knock off a trash can. He's crazy if he'll wait, she thought.
The guy sat on the bench at the park, pulling his jacket closer. I will wait, he thought. It's getting colder and colder. Cold rain wet his face and clothes. An hour has passed, but still the guy is patiently waiting. He'll wait no matter what. Then he heard a voice.
"Hey!" It was the girl. She went to the guy and shared her umbrella with him. "Are you insane? You'll catch a cold. What are you doing?"
"Thanks for the concern. I told you I'll wait," he said.
"You don't have to do this." Rain pour harder now.
The guy stand up. "At least you came for me." He turned around and walked away.
The girl ran after him. She hugged him even though his clothes were wet. "I'm sorry. I love you."
