Hey there! You're quite the artist, these drawings are very good :D

1st: Nice, you've captured the main features of the original photo very well but the woman's right shoulder looks out of place (higher than it should be), and consequently her neck looks a little too forward.

2nd: I know this woman's face is suppose to be an long oval type shape but the structure of it needs to be adjusted slightly. I would try and make her face look slender by feminising the way you've drawn her. Regarding the man's markings (on his forehead), I would try and straighten out the lines as they look a tad bit wonky

However, you've gone into great detail here I think they really resemble the original pictures, so well done and keep drawing :D
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions or want me to review any other work you do!

These are really good, I couldn't do anything like this. The blue matches their real skin tone in the movie, I think. Onyx gave some really good points you might want to assess. :D Also, love the edit's in colour! Wonderful.
I know this wasn't much. There isn't much I can say...I'm not a good artist, just thought I'd say how good this was.
Great work!

Oh goodness these are great! I really, really, realllly want to see that movie. It's driving me insane! It looks absolutely fantastic!

Well, back to the review:

First one -

The pencil one is lovely, I feel it's the best of the bunch and you sort of lose that in the colour version. I would try to exaggerate the lines a little and add some more shading! Don't be afraid to do so, there are handy dandy erasers if it doesn't look right!

Second one -

The pencil one is great again, but their faces are a little flat. You want to create that rounder face to give it a nicer effect. My biggest suggestion to you practice shading, I'll give you a few tips below. The colour one is marvelous! Great job on that!

Shading:

1 - Find a light source! Think of the movie, where does the light hits their faces?
2 - Different pencils, you, being such a great artist should get a set of different pencils. Pencils with different softness and depth. They really can help you create effects.
3 - Experiment! Scan your image and print out several copies to practice and see which kind of shading looks best!

Creating roundness:
(excuse my quick photoshopping, it's to demonstrate a point xD)

Green - Object
Orange - Light Source
Shades of Black - Shading concept

Just follow that sort of idea (more neatly of course  )
And you're good to go! Fantastic job!

Hey Carly! Nice job you've done with the colour photos, it really brings out the characters and I know Avatar is a very, um, colourful film...

1st: I have to point out how you have patterned what I am assuming is a tree trunk of some sort. I do like the squiggles of colour along it but I think it could have been done a little neater-- but I do like the spontaneity of it. I like the calm colour you've used as it really softens out the woman's face.

2nd: One of the first things I noticed about this picture was the random splotches of dark colour on some parts of it. This makes some of the background shading look unfinished and rushed. A part from that though, I think you've done a fantastic job! :D

Oh, and regarding the woman in the second picture; I think the main problem for me was how lopsided her slender face looked. The tip of her nose is slanted more to one side than the other, when it looks as though it should be straight. However, I understand in the original photo her head is tilted and that may be the reason for this.

Did I mention you were a great artist? Good work, and I hope to see more of it!
As usual, any questions or want me to review anything else... Just PM me :)

Woah, these are really good!

I just saw avatar the other day and absolutely loved it, so it made me smile when I saw these.

I think they look much better with the colour, it really brings out their features.

Great work!

These are pretty dodgy because they were either done in my school planner or in my notebook.

These are great!
First set: Beautiful. In the first one, you perfectly captured her flying on, er, one of those birdish/dino thingys. (Haha, I can't quite recall their name!) The angle is great. The only thing I can see right now, is that some of the Na'vi faces look too human. I think that is because of the shape of them, mainly. On the last one-I think she looks feminine enough!
Second set: Yes, the color totally enhances your artwork. Everything looks ten times better!
Last/latest set: The eyes here seem more on the human side, same with the nose. Same with the shape of her face. But I suppose if you were drawing this at school you didn't really have any good resources to copy off of, right?

Overall:
Man, have you conquered Na'vis! :) Great job, hope I helped! Keep up the good work-
