Anthony

He watched Andy hurry off and asked, "Ringo, you don't have much control of your emotions at all, do you?"

Ringo blushed, but forced himself to clear away all thoughts before he transformed.

"But that's not the problem here, is it?" Maeve replied. "What we gotta do is find where the heck Slade-dude is and exterminate him." After pausing, she continued, "If that's at all possible."

Anthony chuckled. "Hehe. Believe me--if anything, Slade will be brought back down to earth again, no more harmless than a newborn baby. And if he doesn't willingly step down..." Anthony's eyes shined a fiery red and his voice deepened dramatically. "He'll regret it." *Note: Not from Curse! This was of Anthony's own doing, no one else's! (I mean that Anthony was the one who blew off his top--no jinxes or anything by Curse or anyone else.*

The others glanced worriedly at each other. This was most unlike their leader. But they grew even more worried when he silently left the room with an impassive face. An abrupt change of emotions, or even showing any emotions at all, was rare for him. However, they did not know of the dark secret he held in his heart. If Slade infiltrates, the first thing he'll go for is her, he thought, also going up to the Control Room. *And I think you all know who she is. (Y'know, it's gonna be a girl in the TT, right? So which girl do you think it is?)*

(You confused me with that last post:
*Note: Not from Curse! This was of Anthony's own doing, no one else's!*
*And I think you all know who she is.*

What is that??)

**I'm betting it's Alida. I'm a little confused on the "Not from Curse' part, but I'm wanting to say it's the sudden change in eye color/attitude.**

Maeve watched impassively as Anthony stormed out of the room and shared a concerned glance with everyone in the room. Ringo, now human, tapped at the shell that still enclosed him, "Uhh, I'm alright now . . . please, let me out?"

She blinked and the orb disappeared letting him fall to the floor with a thud. Ringo rubbed at his head and pouted at Maeve who stared back. He turned to follow Anthony out, but Maeve had produced a sheel around the door, which made Ringo end up on his butt once again.

She stated, "He needs some alone time."

Alida smiled, "Then I shall accompany him during this "alone" time that you speak of."

The shell stayed. Alida frowned, "What are you doing, Maeve?"

"Alone time, girl, means he needs to be ALONE!" Ringo muttered as he stalked off into his room.

Maybe they all needed some alone time.

*So sorry about confusing everyone, haha. But I thought it would be obvious who...she is. Anyway, on with the story!*

Meanwhile, Anthony was again up on the roof.

"Hey...you OK?" It was Andy, come up from the Control Room.

"Oh, that. Yeah, I guess so," he replied.

She sat down next to him. There was a pause. "Well, I...uh, I got all the info we need on Slade to infiltrate."

"Mm." Anthony seemed dazed and lost in thought. Suddenly he came to. "Ah, sorry about that. Yeah, nice job, Andy." He stood up and said, "I think we can go back to the Lounge now."

"Good idea." Andy also stood up and nodded.

When they arrived, they couldn't get through the door. Realizing Maeve had put a shell around the place, Anthony knocked on the door. Maeve looked up at Andy and him.

"Hey, can we get in? I mean, there's no need to lock us out now, is there?" Anthony asked, continuing to tap on the door.

Suddenly, the door swung open. "Thanks, Maeve," Anthony said as he and Andy walked in. Then, looking around the room, he asked, "Hey, where'd our ever-happy Ringo run off to?"

She released the energy shell from the door as the two of them came in. She was still levitating about four feet off the floor, a calm expression across her face.

"He went to his room. I'm about to head there to talk to him. I figured he needed some space, at least long enough to get to his room." She paused, "You know how he gets with his emotions."

"Yeah, I couldn't agree with you more." Anthony smiled, obviously remembering how often Ringo's emotions got the best of him. "Go ahead, Maeve. Maybe you'll do him some good."

Maeve nodded. Her form twisted and changed into a dark crimson red energy, in the shape of a large raven. She shot off through the walls, heading towards Ringo's room. Maeve seemed to melt through the door, and drifted into the shadows of his room. Ringo was sitting on his bed pouting, like an angry child.

"Ringo." She said, and he jumped, startled.

*Yeah, I agree, Emi. But we should most likely discuss this in the DT (Discussion Thread): here. Yup. :)*

In his shock he turned into a rather large ostrich and attempted to stick his head into the ground. Maeve smiled ever so lightly as to not affect her powers and patted his over-sized wings.

"You shouldn't be so hasty. We might need you and if you're not there, who would help?" she asked as she stroked his feathers.

Ringo lifted his bird-head up a few inches and locked eyes with her, his stare seemed to say, It's not my fault that I can't control these transformations. She gave him a gentle pat on the beak and took a step away, "Remember what I told you, equality throughout your whole body."

She took a breath, closed her eyes and began to float in her concentration. Ringo, if it were possible, frowned with his beak and followed her suit. He closed his eyes and took a large inhalation of air through his nostrils.

It was quiet for a while in that room.

When Ringo opened his eyes again, Maeve was standing in front of him with her-ever-so-slight-smile and he looked down at his hands. He had retained human shape. With a sparkle in his eyes, Ringo opened his mouth to say something spontaneous, "I-"

-NEE-NAW! Nee-Naw! The alarm went off. Ringo and Maeve shared a glance, both showing signs of irritation - Ringo more so. He was so angry that tiger fur began to ripple at his skin, but he repeated the steps Maeve had shown him and the transformation sub-sided.

A crime was being committed and whatever Ringo had wanted to say would have to wait, he frowned a little bit as they both rushed into the lounge room to see what was happening.

Hope that gets us going. :P

The alarm went off when I was trying to get with this alone time of which the others spoke of. I didn't get the point because well I was sort of lonely.

I quickly flew to the main room as the others did as well.

"What is going on?!?" On of other asked.

** guys we need to talk about what they are going after currently in the DT please :D*

"Looks like we've got a trouble maker." Andy said, sliding into a chair in front of a small desk covered in buttons and keys. She pressed a small green button and a huge screen appeared on the giant window behind the desk. "Lets see what they're up to." Andy's fingers flew over a keyboard near the center of the desk.

Suddenly, the screen flipped to downtown where one girl was standing amidst a whole lot of chaos.

"She looks like that girl we are always having to deal with!" Alida stated. "What is her name?"

"Jinx." Anthony said.

"That's her sister," Andy corrected. "Her name's Curse. I hope everyone's wearing their lucky underwear, because that chick is bad luck."

Maeve
Meave transformed into her demon form and was back into the main room in the blink of an eye. She knew Ringo would be there shortly, if he could keep his emotions under control. After changing back into her normal form, she looked up at the big screen.

"Curse..." She heard Andy say. And yes, she was right in the middle of downtown, doing what she does best: causing trouble. About that time, Ringo entered the room behind Maeve.

"Hey, what's up?" He was panting from running, and he seemed like he might flip to some random animal.

"Curse is back. Don't know why, but she's here, in town." Their team leader said. Maeve sighed and watched the screen. This girl was tough, because she had luck on her side. Bad luck.

Curse

The Teen Titans were watching her, and she could feel it. It was exactly what she wanted. Standing in the middle of downtown, she had thrown place into chaos. Using her voodoo, she had manipulated a construction worker, telling him to smash the large wrecking ball into the bank. She chose the bank because she knew it would get more attention. After that fun little moment, Curse used her little bad luck spells, causing all of the people downtown into 'unfortunate accidents'. It was so much fun!

Jinx, her younger sister, had always been the one seeking attention, but now it was her turn. The Titans would come after her, and they would fight, long enough to satisfy Curse's need for action. Now, she waited.

Ringo took a loud, extremely large breath and retained his shape as a human, he grinned, "I think I'm getting the hang of this!"

All the others watched the screen impassively. Ringo turned to Anthony, "So, what's the plan, Captain?"

I'm SOOO sorry I haven't been on in so long--please forgive me!! *bows*

Anthony

"Plan, huh...?" For a moment his face darkened, but the others thought it was just a trick of the light. "There must be some reason why Curse suddenly appeared out of the middle of nowhere. Revenge? Probably. A chance to show her sister her skills? Almost definitely. But most likely...just to get on our bad side, get some action going. This might be a trap. It might not be. But regardless, we aren't gonna sit here like a bunch of sissies. We're going out there to fight." His eyes glowed as he adjusted his mask. Looking around at the others, he noticed they also were ready to go.

"She may have bad luck on her side. But her powers can only go so far. There will be a point in time where she can only do hand-to-hand combat, seeing as she's already used quite a bit of power just for fun, making the ordinary citizens here have these 'unfortunate accidents'. So let's GO!" He spoke as someone with true authority did, mature and serious. It was clear to the others that there was no more joking around.

They ran/flew out of the tower, locking up after them. Whatever happened, they were ready. Even if Slade came.
