The Sun.

Im glad to be your first critquer

May i just say this is a really pretty picture, but I feel as though by trying to capture the sun you made the picture itself a little too bright. The dark green leaves to the side are a nice contrast to the bring white cirle of a sun to the left of them. Overall it was a good effort. I cant wait to see some more of your work

Wow, this is a stunning picture. The contrast is so beautiful with the bright, nearly blinding sun sitting so close to the shadow and darkness of the tree.
Another aspect that I really liked was the cloud that’s at the bottom of the picture. Something about the way shadow of that cloud is just so cute.
But possibly my favorite part of his picture is the distinction and sharpness of the tree. I had to actually zoom in on the picture to make sure my screen wasn’t just dirty but the leaves are so crisp and it’s totally awesome how it blended these three ideas – bright, dark, and soft – to create such a lovely image.

I really like this picture a lot.
If you had merely taken a picture of only the sky it would have been a blinding mess but adding the tree brings contrast and shape to the Sun.

My only complaint might be that I wish you had shown some more of the clouds in the picture to add some more contrast.

Overall, not bad.

I really like this! I've always enjoyed nature scenes :) I like the blue sky, the sun, the tree, and the little cloud on the bottom. It's almost verging on busy, so i would not have added anything more to the photo. I think the contrast it great. Then again, I think most the work on here is great lol. But really, it's good.

I like this better than the sunset photograph I reviewed previously. There is a lot more going on in this photograph that is interesting. I like how you didn't just take a straight shot of the sun and have it flaring but that you put the tree in to semi frame it. This is kind of what I was talking about in my last review, just adding that extra something that makes the photo more interesting and above normal. I do like the flare here, it is intruding slightly onto the tree in this weird sort of light cast that covers part of the tree which is a bit irritating to the eye but is only a minor thing. The colours are amazing and I like how the leaves and the cloud are accentuated by the light that the sun is giving off. I would say again though that this photo is similar to the other one I reviewed in the sense that is is slightly 2 dimensional. It all seems to be squashed onto one plane. So like I said just think about that next time.

Whoa. So bright--I'm blinded...! (over-exaggeration. sort of. )

I like having that lone tree on the right side blockading the sun, even if it's just by a little. The clouds look beautiful as well, but like Daydreamer already said, I'd like to see a bit more of them. You know, just my opinion.

I must say I like the white sun. But, I am not too fond of the fog like whiteness filtering into the trees near the tops. It's like the picture is somewhat washed out in that place. But, it is a rather picture. I for one think an orange sun is cliched, so this was very refreshing.

This is a great picture! I love it especially because it is a picture of nature, I wish I had my camera for all the times I saw beautiful pictures of nature to take. Its so impressive that you knew just the right way to take the picture were the sun was not blinding. Keep taking pictures! You are very talented.
