Pretty much what Teo said. Great idea, but this is a little too short and undeveloped to be a poem. It really needs some details to give it substance. Otherwise, it just seems like a saying that people have had since... well... Plato's time.
I will say, though, that I like the simplicity you've got now. If you could retain the same feeling of simplicity, like a haiku, but somehow make what you're saying more interesting or deep or thought-provoking, I think you'd have a winner here.
