Kay, so. I'm gonna use this as a dump for all my worthy photography, kay? Kay. Sounds good to me. xD

(Becki and June are forcing me. If it weren't for them, some of this would never see the light of day. Justsoyouknow.)

OOoooh, that is awesome! I like how the cat's head is not just upright but almost upside down. :)

Sorry - I'm not so good with reviewing photography but it's an awesome photo!

Beautiful, Sachi.

This is what I like to see in photography. Originality, personality, and clarity. You have an incredible focus here, which is great, because my main pet peeve in photography is off focus subjects. I love the warm tone of the photo-- beautiful, even light here. The only thing I would improve is the saturation of the cat's eyes about 4% more to make the color a bit more striking.

A truly great photo, Chee. I look forward to seeing more of your stuff here. Keep up the genius stuff. ;)

Best luck,

June

Stop! It's Chiko time!

Bah, Sachi, I cannot come close to hoping to critique this, but I shall try my best. Peanut butter is a terribly lovely cat-- those eyes are amazing.

In the first photo, your focus in incredible. I absolutely adore the cat's expression in this, and the only thing that could have made this better is the omitting of that dark blob to the right, which I assume is a vaccuum? But, nothing to do about that; some of the best shots are so impromptu, there's no time for suitable backdropping. Love the lattice background, though; that works well with the warm tones.

I love the one of the kitty eyes; the only thing that could have made this better would be if we could see the full kitty cheek or such, but, really, this is such a gorgeous photo, I would frame it and hang it on a wall someplace.

And the last of the kitty feet is so terribly adorable, and I like it a lot because a lot of people don't shoot the feet, so it's not an overrated or terribly common approach. Very appreciative photo though that does look like washout on the front of the legs. At any rate, superb stuff, that.

- June.

You better update this alot, Sach. ;)

Hi Sachiko!

The first word that popped in my head after seeing these pictures were "Awww.."

So on the first one, I've nothing much to say. Juniper's pointed out the only thing I could think of. It's such a beautiful photo! <3

Second one:It looks nice but strikes as sort of plain. The lattice fence is a good background. I think you should try editing lighting and contrast to make the cat's expression the highlight/focus of the photo.

Third one: This is actually my least favourite of the four primarily because, the focusing on the eyes isn't great. I know you'll need a lot of practice and a really good cam for eyes. Another thing is the reflection of the window on the eye doesn't complement the eye. It's a distraction. (These are just my views. Don't take 'em all that seriously.) I think you should try a slightly different angle, a bit more in fron of the kitty.

Fourth one: Wow! I love this! I've never really seen pictures of a cat's feet, so this is beautiful. You could try to get more of the object the cat's stepping on next time.

Awesome stuff!

You're a great photographer- I love the close up you did on Peanut Butter's eyes.

Since I guess we're supposed to criticize, I think you should have shown more of the plant in your last picture- other than that, they're all beautiful!

Holy WOW Sachiko! These are amazing. I love your pcitures! :)

If I could double *gold star* I would.
I love the one that says "only one pic today!"

A little nitpicking:
The last one with the cat's paws sort of dustarcts me. I think the background needs to be entirely one color or some other shades. This white/purple flower bedspread(?) makes one lose focus from the paws.

Anyway, keep up the good work!

Saaaachi,

So, I feel bad for not returning to the earlier ones to review. You should know that I enjoyed them, though. I don't like the last one of the ones you posted on the 18th. It's an... annoying tangle, and the bottom looks cut off, so it's not too incredible. The focus is amazing, though.

The focus in the one you posted on the nineteenth is rather cool as well. I like it, but it's not terribly interesting, so not a favorite. :P

*

Horsies - How cuuuuute. I love the subject of this one! The resolution makes it look like the main horse we can see has a pixelated back, and I don't like that. Also, when photographing outdoors, it's good to put a saturated contrast on most photos, because the light is so raw out there that it looks pale. Gives a bland feel to pictures, and warming up should fix that. :)

And the shadows on the faces don't work too well, but it's so cute that I'll let it slide. :P

-

Excellent focus in the next, wonderful clarity. Good shot. :)

-

The dog is so cute; I love your angle, your subject looks relaxed and natural. Overall a good focus; two thumbs up.

-

Cat feet.

Is there anything better than those? :P They made me say "awww." :P Good shot, as well, I love your focusing and flair in photos.
