Beautiful flower

I took a picture of this while it was in my garden, but now I have no clue what happened to it but anyway, Im really glad I got this beautiful picture so hope you like it. I know it's blurry but my phone has a bad camera, so please no comments about how blurry it is. I wont be taking anymore pictures with my phone.

Was it always like that? It seems a little off. I'm not a fan of this picture, sorry. But maybe it's just the camera, or the lighting. Or the flash ruined the flower. One thing to remember (I learned this from...um, well Juniper, Kamas, one of those awesome photographers!) about flower photography is that too much light reveals imperfections on the flower, which isn't wanted.

Wow that is a very pretty flower! You are right, the phone camera made it look kinda bad but if you had used a good normal camera it could definitely look awesome. I think maybe you could've centered the flower a little more unless you really wanted to get it's cool stem, but overall it's cool.

You should've taken it from a few different angles; that's cool just horrible quality. It would have been a lot better if it was a normal camera.

And I agree, you should have centered it a bit more, but the stem is pretty cool.

Since I'm also into photography, my opinions often match my style. As I don't know your style with this one picture, I can't determine it and will be basing my review entirely on personal opinion, because that's the only way I know. Just saying.


Constructive Criticism:
The angle is fine, nothing special, a little boring, but I have to comment on where in the frame the flower is. It's not center, or off to one side, or anything. It's just there. That could be worked on.

The background is... weird. It looks like a tree, when the leaves look like a shrub. It's just confusing. Changing where you set the flower in the frame, along with angle, could give us a little more on the background so that the second our eyes drift from the petals we don't go, "What the hey?".


Praise:
It's radioactive. This happens to me with this one flower in my backyard; no matter how I take it, it turns this blinding, neon pink when it's really more subtle. Your camera messed up and altered the color. However, here, it looks fantastic. I love the colors. I also really like how the leaves are clearer and the actual flower more pixelated. The entire fact that it's pixelated adds a certain techie twang to it (I'm a computer geek, so I enjoy this look). With a normal camera, it would have been just any other photo, but this way it's different. In my opinion, it's great.


Overall, I really like this picture in all its wonderful blurriness. I see potential in you, young grasshopper. Of course, that's coming from, oh, maybe a frog compared to a master like Juniper, but you get the point. Keep shootin' them pics!

Okay, this is a very pretty fower, but it could be presented in a better angle. Or you could have taken the image at different times of the day to get different types of shadows and lgihting on the flower. The reason it is really light is because you took the photo straight on, and the light is at a bad angle. It makes the flower look washed out, and unrealistic.

Overall the light is bad, but the flower is very pretty.

Awwh, this flower is very pretty! Although, I must agree with the others; the quality and lighting are rather poor, but the flower itself is beautiful. ^.^

Personally I think the angle is fine (such may be because I've no experience in the category of photography XD), but trying different angles would be a great idea. :']

Hey there!

Madonna lily, is it? We used to have all of these pretty yellow, orange, and white ones growing, and one year they all disappeared.

So, yes, the photo's not actually the clearest. The angle's not actually interesting, either! It's sort of the dead-on approach, dear, like, we're just blasely looking at it, and that's not exactly interesting. I'd recommend trying more interesting angles, like coming in at a 45 degree angle from the side, or a 60 degree from the bottom...

And, chica, tinker with cameras instead. They tend to have more megapixels which allows for color, clarity and better size.
