I've kind of lost interest in my last story, but might go back to it at some point if the writer's block for it goes away, and if the inspiration comes back. I'm sorry if I've upset anyone, but I like this new idea and promise to stick with it.
So an introduction to this idea?
Kiersten [Keer-stin] Kavanagh [Kuh-Van-Uh] or [Kavven-uh] has wanted nothing more than to leave New York City and travel to Hollywood to pursue her dreams as an indie singer. When her parents promise this trip on her 17th birthday, meaning during summer break, Kiersten couldn't be more happy that she'll be living up to her dream.
But, things take a turn for the worst when the Kavanaghs take an unexpected detour to the one place Kiersten would kill to be away from...
Ireland.
There, she's stuck on her grandparent's farm with only a guitar and a very angelic voice.
Everyday she'd escape to the Irish mountains paved with roses to sing her songs, hoping some Hollywood scout would miraculously be stranded on those damned hills too, and would whisk her away to California.
Though instead of a talent scout, she meets Aiden MacKenna, who may be a little closer to her family than she thinks.
Over the course of the summer, Kiersten learns more about her family roots and where she truly came from, who Aiden MacKenna really is, and why her parents really brought her to Ireland.
So hopefully it sounds intriguing?
If you all have any title suggestions, I'd appreciate that too!
