X Factor Addicts? Anyone?

Okay, I know I sound all obsessive and materialistic, but I really do love the X Factor. Especially this year, now that the judges don't hate each other so much and aren't making each other cry so much. HOWEVER it did seem sort of bitchy last week. I thought Cheryl and Dannii were right about the girls but they didn't expain it very well, if they don't want to be presented as sexual objects they shouldn't dress like it. Is that not obvious?

Who do you want to win? I'm hovering between Danyl and Stacey, who are both stunning.

I actually miss the Simon/Louis banter. They've toned it down so much since the whole "Louis made Dannii cry" incident. It's a little bit too nicety-nice now; it seems very different from the first few series.

I spend most of the show looking at Lloyd, and so have utterly no idea what anyone sounds like. xD Well, that's not quite true. I missed a weekend so I'm a little out of the loop, and I don't have a favourite yet in terms of actual singing ability, though I hate the twins, but there's nothing new there. I just hope someone with such a similar voice to Leona doesn't win this year. I think they made a mistake giving Lucy one of her songs.

Does anyone else think that the backing music is way too loud? The acoustics are awful this year, IMO, but I wondered if that's just me. I thought it ruined the auditions, since singing without the backing tracks did at least show you whether they could sing or not. Then again, I don't think the show has ever been entirely about the singing, has it?

*blushes and tries to hide enthusiasm* Yes, I admit I love the X Factor. John and Edward are so terrible but you can't help getting excited about what they'll do next...tomorrow night is big band which should be interesting...
